Chapter Ten Stacey looked out the window of Tina’s hospital room. For once, it wasn’t raining. The sky was hazy, the sun blocked by clouds. It was overcast and muggy outside, a strange mix of summer and storms. Tina was watching a daytime soap opera from her hospital bed. Her figure looked somehow skinnier and more fragile than when Stacey had seen her yesterday. Her eyes were glassy and her voice muted.
