Chapter Twelve Stacey left the apartment and went downstairs to wait outside. For once in many days, the nighttime sky was clear of storms. The car that Tony sent rolled up to the curb right on time. The driver opened the door and Stacey slid into the back seat. Soft classical music was playing. She closed her eyes and tried to focus on the music as the car took her to the party venue, outside the city limits. There was an entire section with homes so massive, her entire apartment could probably fit into a closet. As the car stopped in front of a gated community, Stacey peered out the window.
