THIRD PERSON POV The voice from the communication unit connected to his ear interrupted his thoughts, and he was grateful for the distraction. "One sec," he said to Kristen, lifting his finger. "Hrolf," he answered. He was staying in their communication station, coordinating efforts with his team, so that they wouldn't have too many voices in each other's ears. "They were more than the two dozen we had expected__," he explained while Hrolf answered that his team hadn't found the woman. "I think they have a basement. They might be hiding her there, too. I'm going to go in." He shut off the communication, not wanting to hear Hrolf telling him to stay away. He knew that Hrolf was usually protective of his associates but Thomas didn't give a s**t.
