"You. I need you," she confessed. "And I hate that too."
"You hate it?" He asked pulling away and looking down at her with this thoughtful eyes.
"I hate that I need you to protect me. I'm supposed to be the one protecting my brothers and I failed them because I'm weak and-" before she could complete her statement. Warm lips cut her off and she sighed into his mouth and melted into his arms.
His warm hands moved to cup her jaw. "You're not weak, Zora." He said against her mouth," You are strong, very strong. All these years, you have been protecting them, supporting them, helping them succeed and achieve exactly what they all want, sacrificing your own freedom and want."
