When we got to where I normally train, we decided to sit and wait for Lucas. We made small talk. I noticed out of the corner of my eye Alicia became stiff. When I turned to ask her what was wrong she wiped the expression of shock off her face and just said nothing.
We sat for a few more minutes, “Ok, I am going to go find Lucas and see where he is. Do you want to stay or go with me?” I asked, looking at her.
“I will go with you.” I nodded and as we turned to walk to the pack house back door I saw Alicia tense up again. Then I heard her whisper mate and stop dead in her tracks.
