Chapter 19
Peter and I wasted no time leaving the area; not even bothering to go back into the clubhouse. Instead, we sent a text to Moira and Uncle Charlie telling them to meet us back at my house. Then we retrieved our keys from the valet station. Joey caught us before we left, and I promised I would fill him in on all the details as soon as I could. I could tell he wanted more information right then and there, but he would have to wait. Things were moving quickly, and I wanted to talk with the others before things moved out of our control.
