Thirteen
When we arrived at the county line I called the number the Sheriff gave us and after a short wait the Sheriff came on. “Sorry Raph, I was just finishing something else up.”
“I just wanted to let you know we are just getting into your county on our way to the church compound now. We just wanted to poke our heads in and let them know we are still around looking. I will ask to see Eva, to make sure she is alright and look around. We will call you when we are done there.”
“That sounds good, I appreciate the call.”
