Louis Roth VIII
Louis was back in the office of the church talking to Susan. He asked her who she thought would be taking over for Melvin.
“I am not sure, we still have to hear the reading of the Will from our lawyer. That will be in the morning. Once that happens the rules of the church say we can pick someone to succeed him. The elders will pick names, sort of how they chose a new Pope. But this will just be a meeting. We won’t be locking them in until they decide.”
“Why do we need to wait for the reading?”
“It’s possible that Mr. Stevens has already picked his successor. And if that is the case then we have to put that name at the top of the list. But they will still vote.”
“Do you think he might have picked me,” Louis asked.
