Chapter Nineteen

Nineteen I got in my truck and started toward the direction I last heard the noise. The few times we had been to see these people at the church we had taken Mac’s truck. Mine was completely different and I had the feeling Louis wasn’t the brightest bulb anyway. I drove in the direction I thought I heard and within a minute I saw his truck sitting in a lot that was almost behind ours. I tried to see if Louis was still in his truck but couldn’t tell. I called Mac to let him know and to watch out from the back. The lot his truck was in had two entrances, he was closest to the first. I drove to the second and pulled in.
