On landing Alec looked at Kaisa.”You ready for this?”
“I’m ready.” She smiled. “I said I didn’t like killing people. That doesn’t mean I’m not willing to do it if I have to. Normally I’d prefer to make it so that whoever I shoot does have a chance to go on to live a mostly normal life, but this is kill of be killed. As being killed is the very last thing on my want list, then kill it will be.”
Nodding, he opened up the ship. Fortunately there was no wave of hunters, so it seemed they were still preparing themselves.
