“Hello, Alec.”
“Hello, James.” Alec raised an eyebrow. “I was almost expecting it to be you. There were a couple of other possibilities, but you were the most likely one to actually make it onto the ship.”
“All I had to do was wait until the right moment.” James shrugged. “I should know better than to do this, because you’re never going to be anything the easy way, but all you need to do is hand him over. Then we’ll be done.”
