With hurried footsteps, Vin ran in the direction of the light. Vin ran as quickly as he could, taking several confusing turns around the palace compound, before coming across a site of thick vegetation. He pushed through the grass and trees, and emerged in front of the infinity long pillar of bright green light. From where he stood, he noticed a figure behind the pillar, and Vin saw Daelon with his eyes completely blank, and his mouth moving fast as he muttered inaudibly. Vin stood for a long while, unsure what to do, for a few seconds. He looked at Daelon's hands, and in them was the vase with liquid pouring out slowly from it.
