Chapter Forty-Seven It didn’t take me long to get to the small town. The air smelt foul from the vehicles, something I was used to before, but now I picked it up instantly. I walked alone down a dark street looking towards the seven eleven sign lingering in the distance. I felt myself craving a coffee, instinctively I patted my pockets, looking for my wallet, but knew I didn’t have one. I sighed, why was I even in town? Shouldn’t I be trying to go back? I sighed once more. No, I wanted that coffee. I slowed my steps as I looked around the dark neighborhood. It seemed to be pretty late at night, so no one was really out and about, and most of the houses seemed to be dark with not many lights on.
