Chapter Twenty-One
The cave we hid in was dark, not a single light was allowed to be lit. Everyone was silent as we listened to the battle commencing. The White Claw pack and the lycans had really pushed our land to the point where there was not much left. Listening to this battle really showed how close everything was to us. How unsafe we all truly were.
It made the councils'choices so much more evil. There had to be a reason for this! They must be working with the White Claw pack and the Lycans. There’s no way around it. I sighed as I wiped the sweat on my forehead away with my arm. Amelia, knowing how I hated being nude in front of everyone, had gotten me a dark tank top and pants to cover myself with.
