Chapter Twenty-Nine I tossed and turned for what felt like hours before I decided against sleeping. I waved over to one of the guards who stood nearby. “I would like some clothes please.” He bowed, nodding at once. He was gone but a few seconds before he returned, back to his post. A maid shortly after came over with something in her arms. “It’s nothing fit for a queen, but this is the best we could find.” She smiled nervously as she passed over a red gown with gold trim. My eyes grew wide taking in this material. This was way more then I even wanted. “This is already too much, a simple shirt and pants would do,” I remarked. “I’m sorry, this is the best we have.” She spoke again, passing it over to me.
