I ended up staying with my sister and parents in the northern kingdom for two nights. My mates did call asking when I would be back, if they needed to pick me up, once again trying to break the ice. Unfortunately, I was still a bit pissed, and I knew they would be too, so I decided to hold off on the heart-to-heart for a few more days. We were all collectively busy anyway, so there was no opportunity to get all four of us in the same room and what I had to say needed to be said in front of all of them at once.
