"What happened?!" I nearly yelled as I stared at my mother-in-law, my hands practically shaking as I showed her the book.
I read every entry, and then read it again while Lanna was going through her heat. This morning when her temperature finally dropped, I all but ran out here to speak to Evelyn in the hopes of finding out more.
"You found it!" She said excitedly.
"Evelyn, what happened after your last entry? What did you do? Where did you go?"
Her face fell.
"It doesn't... I didn't..." She frowned.
"Your last entry didn't say where you were going or what you were doing. Please, you must remember-"
"I don't. I'm sorry." She said, shaking her head, tears in her eyes.
