Leah had it all planned, she would sleep with Cassie tonight and take care of her. First she would tuck her in, then she will read her a story and afterwards Leah would give Cassie a magical hug ….. she was sure Cassie would be all fine by morning.
Cassie was limping as she walked back from the washroom, Leah came running to offer her support ….. “I help Cassie”, she proclaimed proudly.
“I can Cassie ….. I eat all my veggies, I strong, grammy said so”, Leah countered, as Cassie hesitated to hold on to the little girl.
Cassie was deeply touched by the love shining in her sister’s eyes. She let Leah hold her hand but was careful not to put any weight on her.
