Shawn was brought out of musings with a jolt when Derrick stopped his vehicle outside the pack house.
“So Alpha”, Shawn asked “what is it that you need me for and which conference call are you referring to…..I don’t remember seeing anything in the schedule.”
Derrick, who knew he had lied to get out of spending more time with that human girl, got very defensive and started shouting “so you think I’m lying? Why would I say there’s a conference call, if it wasn’t scheduled….it’s not my fault that you forgot the schedule.”
