I smiled at Broderick for the first time in a week as I got into his car. I was hopeful the video could help in reviving Adonis. If not, I would see him in person, wearing the sterilized clothing.
Broderick gave me a look of surprise. “Has our Alpha recovered?”
“Not yet, but he soon will. The doctor gave me permission to go near him and try.”
