Marina’s POV
“Impressive, Luna!” said Master Kenneth as he emerged from the training center. “You’ll pick up well in a couple of days!”
I smiled at his appreciation. It meant the world to me. He was the only one apart from Adonis who believed in me. “Thank you for believing in me. I was waiting for you.”
“Yes, I had misplaced my car keys.”
He produced it with a smile, and I smiled back with relief. Maybe the next time, I would get my car. “I’ll drop you home since no one is available tonight.”
“I’ll get my car tomorrow to spare you the trouble, Master Kenneth. Can I please see Alpha Adonis before we go home?”
“Sure.” However, someone rushed out of the training center to call him for some urgent matter. He gave me a hesitant look, unable to accompany me further.
