Chapter Ten

Jessie's POV

I sent Lucy to drop a pursle my house and she was acting strange and giving some attitude. I may be imagining it but I could feel the negative energy radiating from her even when I entered the office in the morning. She has been acting strange since the day she budged in my office restroom interrupting my and Ryan's make-out session. l didn't want to press it, it might not have been right then again neither was what we were doing but I don't see why that should be much of a problem for her. I'm concerned because she's not usually like that maybe she's going through something so I invite her inside for coffee

" come on in I'll get you some coffee it's must have been a long day you look exhausted "

" no it's fine I'm okay I have to get going," she says

" oh come on in I'll get Jimmy to send you home after. besides I need some company I'm a little bit bored I could use small talk " she starts to walk towards the sitting room so I head to the kitchen to make so coffee

" this is nice," she says after one sip " I didn't think you would be this good "

" I'm not a spoiled brat you know I'm pretty much as normal as anyone else "

" except for the part where you own a rapidly growing empire. people think you have someone for everything maybe even bathing" she says genuinely curious

" now that's just hilarious " I laughed

" not really, I mean have you seen yourself? you reak of power, your walk signifies authority. everyone adores you even I do "

" I hope I wouldn't be needing to sign any autographs " I joke she is adorable

" you might if it were up to me," she said then asked " can I use the restroom? I'm pressed "

" sure just go straight and turn right "

Lucy's POV

wow, this place is so stunning from the blossoming gardens to the marble floors, hell even the toilet is so beautiful you wouldn't want to just leave it there. why does she have to be so perfect and also have all the perfect things like this villa, the company, a really good family and now she wants to have Ryan too? that's not going to happen not on my watch

" Lucy are you okay? do need any help?" she asked from the other side of the door, I must have taken ling I guess

" I'm coming," I said flushing the toilet does she have to be so caring? you'd think a woman with her power to be ruthless but that's not the case with Jessie or maybe I just don't know her. I sprinkle some water on my face and went to join her in the sitting room

" think I should get going it's getting a little late," I say

" yeah sure, I already called Jimmy to come to get you and drop you home " after a while her driver arrived. she has got a comfortable ride

I spent the whole night turning and tossing I just couldn't sleep . I felt the anger build up inside me the hatred and jealousy stared dark feelings that overwhelmed me. I felt like I needed to do something about it, Ryan is not that into me or maybe he was just pretending but anyway I don't need him to be interested. I just want to cause a misunderstanding, yes that's it, that's what I need to do then everything they have will come shuttering into tinny pieces. Now all I need is a plan, a little drama here and there then I'm done and he'll be all mine

my phone pulled me out of my trance

" ah, it's my good for nothing boyfriend. What does he want ?" I say to myself as I pick up

" Hey babe," he said sounding so excited

" yes Ben, what is it? "

" I was just wondering if we could go out and celebrate today," he says what's there to celebrate it's just an ordinary day

" why is that? did anything nice happen? oh wait is it your birthday?" I asked deliberately trying to pies him off

" Lucy seriously I told you I got a promotion and besides my birthday isn't until next week . how can you forget that?" yup it worked who cares about his silly promotion anyway

" well, maybe my priorities just changed. who cares about a silly promotion anyway? and why would I want to go out with you? "

" I do okay and you are my girl who else am I supposed to celebrate with? "

I let out a laugh

" Lucy, what's wrong with you? why have you changed all of a sudden? did I do anything wrong? " gosh and he just had to be so caring. this is going to be harder than I thought it would

" oh please not everything is about you and I don't want to be your girl anymore go find someone else. Stop disturbing me okay I have better things I want to focus my time on and you're standing in my way. so move before I move you myself and oh do ever call me again or I'll report you for harassment " I say and hung up he's a distraction from getting what I truly want Ryan. The love of my life, hold on I'm coming to get you from that evil witch. I'll do anything to make you mine my sweat heart, for now, I need to go and take a bathe and plan how I'm going to get you out of that witches clause without being detected. I'm going to make you want mine and mine alone
