Jessie's POV

"so I'm finally meeting him she?" she says

" I can't wait and since you don't want him I can just bone him right?" what? she can't be serious right now

" Who said I don't want him I simply think it's kind of degrading for a boss to be dating their assistant " I know she won't get that she's always had it easy with guys, dating life and all I on the other hand? not so much " oh come on who cares if he's an assistant or yours for that matter I just want you to be happy," she says touching up my makeup " just have fun for once will you? you're starting to look a little bit older than you are"

" don't think I can besides who says he wants me?" " well if he doesn't want you, then he's going to want me so let's get going "

he wasn't kidding when he said everyone else will be here this place is sure packed " so much for just a small party " I say " small party ? B this is a hell of a par...... holly s**t! is that him?" she exclaimed tapping on my shoulder " not so loud B he's going to hear you" " well seems like he already did " she says leaning on the bar. this girl is something else

" Hello ladies," he said grabbing a drink after that was said I went ahead with introducing them

" hey, Ryan this is Tricia my best friend, and Tricia this is Ryan?"

" nice to finally meet you, Tricia?"

" Nice to meet you too hot, jaw-dropping assistant I want to get myself one," she says putting her drink down " aah excuse me I need to use the restroom " rushing down the hallway and changing her direction when Ryan says

" sure the good ones are upstairs, " Ryan says amused then he adds after Tricia has left " so hot, jaw-dropping assistant huh" " well don't ask me. she can be crazy sometimes," I say nervously this time he smirks and adds " so we're alone last" thanks to God he didn't press on that " it seems so what do you have in mind?"

" they are taking shots you want to try?" that's not so bad I guess I can try I'm not so good at holding down alcohol but I can't tell him that he looks so hopeful

We head there and take a few shots I'm not quite sure what happened after that that I remember meeting a few people and Tricia came back and we played a few games and ooh yeah there was the other guy Ryan said he was a friend or something I'm not sure things got chatty

" I see you're having a fun boss" ooh James why do I have to see him now not that I keep grudges or mix work with personal but he's ruining my mood

" yeah you also seem to be having a lot of fun James " he smiles and say

" yeah well I wanted to talk to you about earlier I mean about the meeting" he's nervous again seriously am I that scary? anyway I don't want to talk about that right now

" as you can see I'm not at work I'm having fun and I don't want to talk about that right now really we can discuss this at the office on Monday " he walks off with I'm not sure if that's a disappointed look or just a sad face I don't blame him but I'm also not going to go easy on him

" are you alright?" Tricia and Ryan ask simultaneously

" Yeah I'm fine I need a drink, a really strong one"

" yeah sure I think we can have a few more shots I could also some " Tom Ryan's friend says

" I don't think that's a good idea bro" Ryan argued

" I think it's a very good one though now let's go," says Tricia giggling

" Tom man let's take them home "

" I'm not going home it doesn't matter what any of you say" what's wrong with him? I just want to have fun and not worry about anything else

" yeah man if they want to have fun let them besides they're not kids I'm sure they take care of themselves "

"Jessie, you're already pretty drunk are you sure? " Ryan still trying to argue against it

" well yeah, she just said she wanted a strong drink. shots are really strong ain't they B?" Tricia says

" off cause they are. hey, are they competing? I also want let's go " I say pulling Ryans in that direction. we had a few more shots and headed we headed to the bar

I started looking for Tricia through the crowd but I couldn't find her so I looked for Ryan instead and found him sitting with Tom

" did you see Tricia I can't find her anywhere?"

" yes I saw her leave a few minutes ago I can get you a room to sleep in I don't you'll be able to drive like that" offered Ryan

" All the rooms are taken. I gave the last one to Lucy I found her sleeping on the couch " Tom says

"you can take mine I'll just share with "

" no man I've planned for tonight there no way I'm sharing my room with you," Tom says shocking on his drink " I'm fine by the way thanks for asking " I turn and head to the bar

" I need just one more drink " everything else happened in a bluer I had a few drinks then I went to look for a restroom but they were all full so I went up and found myself in a room I think I saw Ryan aah I don't know
