Cordelia the cat had been trying to lead Charlie, not to the cavern for an attack from Yash’s minion, Rezin, but to lead Charlie to the water. Because apparently, the water held answers to some of the many questions Charlie and the rest of the Quintets had when it came to saving the planet.
notCharlie felt particularly down on her luck, especially today. It felt like Kire, Kaos, Trace, and Amberly didn’t like her and that they were angry with her for nearly getting them killed. She also felt like her family didn’t feel any need to give her the time of day. She was just an extra in her own home. And at her own school. A complete and total outsider that nobody wanted anything to do with. And yet, somehow, it was up to her—even if just partially—to save the world.
