today is the day that luca ships out and I'm not okay. I'm trying my hardest to be strong for him and not break down again but it's really hard on top of that my pregnancy hormones aren't help.
I look myself over in the bathroom mirror, give my small belly a little rub and make my way to the bed room where luca is walking out the door with his go bags. I let out a sigh, I knew this was coming I keep telling myself.
he loads up his bags and meets me on the porch wrapping his arms around me
" hey 6 months will fly by baby, you've gotta start your new job and get things ready for our little bean. you won't even know I'm gone."
