Chapter one: The boring mornings
HAZEL p.o.v
It happened during Christmas time.
Five thirty in the morning I was sitting on my bed just after snoozing my alarm. A quiet and peaceful morning as everyday.
It was another morning, I had to go to work although I was tired as hell. I was transfer to Emerald town which was three hours from my home place.
I had assignments due for the day after.
In my grumblings, I forgot to introduce myself,
Hazel a big over thinker, foodie and sometimes crazy.
My parent got divorced eight years ago hence I live with my mom and siblings in Sapphire city. I go to the O university and do a part time job at a coffee shop.
Sleepy I went to the bathroom and took my toothbrush and started brushing while over thinking and imagining scenario that may never happen.
I loved singing but was only able to sing in the bathroom for now
I took a quick shower and got ready. I quickly ran through the way to the bus stop. The bus just arrived after a few seconds I came.
Thinking to myself that I did just made it on time,
I got into the bus and plugged in my earphones.
It was the favourite part of the day, my quiet alone time by the window seat.
After a few stops, a lady took the seat next to me.
She was on a phone call and was screaming loudly.
I felt my ears bursting with her screams, I increased the volume of my phone glad that I was just fifteen minutes away from my stop.
I arrived a few minutes later than usual to the bus station, my bus was already gone. I had to wait for a lifetime to get another one. Once seeing my bus arrived, I quickly jumped into it.
Arriving late I found my colleague Gwendoline glaring at me
It was only 8 in the morning and the coffee shop was busy. I quickly put my cap and apron and started helping her. She is cool to work with but...
“Where were you?” asked Gwen. I started panicking with all those clients in this early morning she complained. You were once again struck in traffic she said with a big grin on her face. I moan will telling her my every morning traffic even though she knew it was not possible to reach earlier than this.
