From Dave's Perspective The metallic taste of blood filled the air, causing his fangs to press against his gums. With each hurried step, his mouth watered even more. He pushed himself to the limit, allowing the scent of blood to guide him towards his destination. His entire body ached, and his veins pulsed beneath his skin as his objective started to blur. He struggled to refocus, separating the need to support Jacob and Hayden in whatever mess they had gotten themselves into from the desire to drain every last drop of blood from their enemies, as tempting as that sounded. He had to be there for Jacob, as Francine would never forgive him if he let his own greed outweigh Jacob's life. So, he suppressed the savage beast that lurked within him and honed his hearing on the situation ahead.
