Chapter Thirty-TwoDavin stretched his back muscles, which had stiffened up since being awakened by Alvus. The rotund physician had made good on his word, enlisting two strong guards to carry Rahne from the Crystal Cavern to what he assumed was Castle Randar's equivalent of an infirmary. A few feet away, Rahne dozed peacefully. His face was the picture of serenity, a mask disguising what must have been going on inside his body since he stepped on the Nexus.
