"Who are you?" Lacey softly whispered in awe and wonder. The figure smiled and held out her hand, beckoning to Lacey. Without thinking, Lacey reached out and grasped the hand. A surge of energy coursed through her body, like lightning igniting her very soul. Her vision blurred, colors exploding in a kaleidoscope of sensations as if the universe itself had opened up within her.
She collapsed to her hands and knees, every nerve ending on fire, gasping for air as if she were drowning. Memories flooded her mind, vivid and overwhelming, each one searing her consciousness. Her blood felt like molten lava, scorching through her veins, threatening to consume her. And as quickly as it had begun, it ended. Lacey lay there, panting, her body trembling from the aftershocks of the experience.
