"Oh, saan ka pupunta?"

I stopped from walking down the stairs when my sister asked me. She looked at me from head to toe. She was confused at the same time. Bumuntonghininga na lamang ako at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad pababa hanggang sa makarating ako sa may salamin at humarap dito. Hindi ko na pinansin ang mapanuring tingin ni Ate. I opened my pouch with make ups on it.

I smiled when I saw the red lipstick.

I glanced at her. Her brows were furrowed and she gave me a questioned look so I have no choice but to reply.

"Bar," I replied.

Binalik ko ang tingin ko sa salamin at ngumuso para lagyan ng red lipstick ang labi ko. Nakita ko sa salamin na hindi niya nagustuhan ang sagot ko kaya bumuntonghininga ako.

"Kasama ko si Cheska," dagdag ko agad.

I saw from the mirror that she nodded. She rested her head on the backrest of the sofa at ngumuso.

"Mag-ingat ka ah, baka mabuntis ka sa daan!"

Nanlaki ang mata ko sa sinabi niya. Hindi ko maiwasan ang matawa ng malakas. I looked at her in disbelief, still laughing.

"Ate, paano ako mabubuntis sa daan? Wala naman sigurong tite na sasaga sa akin sa daan!" I laughed again and faced the mirror.

I put back the lipstick on the pouch and smirked at her. I saw how she stopped after she heard my naughty reply. She was about to throw a pillow when I lifted my hand for her to stop what she's about to do. I raised my brow and laughed again.

"Sige, ibato mo! Tatawagan ko talaga si Kuya Jude!" I threatened her and smiled.

Ayaw niya kasing papuntahin si Kuya Jude--na boyfriend ng Ate ko dahil nga cool-off sila ngayon. Ano kaya ang nakain ng Ate ko at kinawawa niya si Kuya. Minsan sa akin pa tumatawag para lang kamustahin si Ate.

She narrowed her eyes on me as a sign of threat. "Sige! Subukan mo! Talaga naman--" I ran towards her and kissed her on her cheeks which made her stop from talking. I smiled evilly at her and stepped back.

Kita ko ang panliliksik ng mata niya dahil sa ginawa ko. I made my way to the door and grabbed the door knob.

"Huwag kang mag-alala, Ate, kapag nabuntis man ako sa daan, ikaw ang unang makakaalam!" I joked and laughed.

Before she could throw a pillow, I immediately went outside the house. I heard her calling my name with a curse. I can't help it but to laugh again.

Nagmumukha na akong tanga habang mag-isang tumatawa sa daan. Ang funny talaga minsan ni Ate, kaya ang sarap asarin kasi madali rin mapikon. At what made her think na mabubuntis ako sa daan? Wala nga akong jowa eh.

I shook my head and waited for a bus to pass on the street. By the way, I wore a short high waist denim skirt with a spaghetti strap. I let my curly hair down, hanggang bewang ito and I wore heels. I also put an eyeliner on my cat eyes so para na akong nangangagat sa gabi.

Nang may dumaan na bus ay pumara ako at sumakay. Other passengers were looking at me because I wore sexy than them. I rolled my eyes and sat on the last row of the bus.

When I came, I saw Cheska with a smile on her face. Kita ko na natatawa siya. She wore a dress and more revealing than mine. Her hair was tied up and her cheeks were covered by light make up.

"Why are you laughing?" I roamed my eyes on the surroundings. From the outside, I already heard the loud chants and loud music from the bar inside.

"Gagi, bakit ka nag-bus?"

I rolled my eyes. "Bakit naman hindi?"

She shook her head and grabbed my arms. She pulled me towards the entrance. Halos mabingi ako sa sobrang lakas ng music at napatakip pa sa ilong nang maamoy ko ang usok ng sigarilyo. What do you expect?

I let Cheska lead the way since I don't have any idea about this bar and this is my first time—in this bar!

Nang makarating kami, I almost stepped back when I saw two guys on our supposed table. I looked at Cheska in disbelief.

"Akala ko tayo lang dalawa?"

She laughed and didn't answer my question. Ang dalawang lalaki naman ay malagkit na ang tingin sa amin, and I don't like it. And I think they're drunk!

"Hi, Romy and Chester!" she greeted and waved at her while her right hand was still holding my wrist.

Napairap na lamang ako at akmang tatalikod na sana but then she pulled me back and narrowed her eyes at me. I groaned because of frustration! Mas gustuhin ko pang mag-inom sa bahay mag-isa kaysa makasama ang dalawang lalaking ito.

"I'm glad you came," a man with deep voice said and glanced at me. "...with a friend."

He winked at me and I wanted to vomit. Ew!

"Ah, hihihi," malanding tawa ni Cheska. She even put her hair behind her ears. What the hell? "Yes...uhm...Romy...si Katarina, kaibigan ko..."she looked at me and narrowed her eyes again. She looked at them again..."Katarina, si Romy at kaibigan niya...si Chester!"

"Ah, Hello," I awkwardly said and looked down. I don't have time to meet and greet. All I need right now is to drink, not a guy, not a man!

Romy stood up and pulled us a chair. Wow, what a gentleman!

"You may sit here!"

I was about to say no but then Cheska pulled me which made me sat beside Chester who was now looking at me. I cleared my throat and slightly moved away from him but I stopped when he asked me.

"First time?" He smiled like a dog to me. I looked away and lowered my gaze.

"Hindi,"I replied and took the glass with liquor on it. I don't even know kung anong klaseng alak ito pero ininom ko ito.

Napapikit ako nang maramdaman ko ang pait sa lalamunan ko. I don't have any idea kung anong alak ito basta diretso ako sa pag-inom. I just want to get away from here.

"Ow!" He looked amused.

I could smell liquor from his breath and he was near me. Maybe kanina pa sila rito. Kinabahan na ako dahil sa lalaki sa gilid ko but then I composed myself. I am braver than he thinks.

Nagulantang ako nang biglang dumantay ang palad niya sa hita ko at hinaplos niya pa ito na ikinamutla ko. I immediately stood up and stepped back. I saw him panicked as well as Cheska who was flirting with Romy. I glared at him angrily before I looked at Cheska.

"Oh, saan ka pupunta?" she asked but I didn't hear the other words she said because of the loud music and noises of the people who were chanting for body shots.

Sinabi ko lang na naiihi ako. But the truth is, gusto ko lang magpunta sa Cr. No one touched me that way! Not even my ex-boyfriend!

When I went inside the powder room, I put my pouch bag on the sink and wash my face. But I almost screamed when I saw my eyeliner scattered around my eyes. I started to panic and looked around to see kung may tissue. Dahil wala akong makita, isa-isa kong binuksan ang Cr para maghanap ng tissue. And when I opened the last row, nakita ko ang isang babae na tumae.

Nanlaki ang mata ko at napaatras sa gulat.

"KYAAAAAAH!" she screamed and slammed the door against me.

"S-Sorry!" my voice shaken a bit. I slapped my forehead and looked again. Nakakahiya.

Nang makakita na ako ng tissue ay bumalik na ako sa pwesto at pinunasan ang gilid ng mata ko. I looked like a ghost!

"Hayst!" I heaved a sigh. "Bakit ko pa naisipan mag-eyeliner!" I threw the tissue on the trash bin. I looked at the mirror again and I saw how messed I was.

I looked away when I saw the lady, she looked at me angrily before she slammed the door and went out.

"Tanga mo talaga, Katarina! Nandito ka para mag-relax! Hindi para mabastos!" I took the pouch and opened the zipper. I looked at the mirror again and pouted my lips for some retouch.

After I did some retouch, I went out na parang walang nangyari. Hindi na ako bumalik sa pwesto nila Cheska and went to the counter instead. I saw a bartender showing off his talent in mixing liquors. Hinalo niya ang mga alak at wala akong naintindihan.

I sat on the high-chair and looked at the liquor. Nilagay ko ang siko ko sa malamig na lamesa na gawa sa metal.

"May pangmalakasan ka bang alak d'yan?" I asked while my eyes was still on the liquor.

The bartender glanced at me with an arrogant smile. Napairap na lamang ako. I remembered someone.

"Yes."

Nagulantang ako nang lumapit siya sa 'kin at tinaas ang isang baso na may alak na kulay blue. I don't even know what kind of liquor is that! Is that a love potion?

He gave it to me, smirk was on his face. Tinanggap ko naman ito at mariin na tiningnan.

"Yan ang bukod tanging alak na pangmalakasan!"

I looked at it again and smelled it. Wala akong naamoy na baho. What kind of liquor is this? Tiningnan ko siya nang may pagtataka sa mukha ko at napansin niya iyon. He sighed and leaned on the table. He pointed the liquor that he gave me.

"Ako ang unang nag-imbento niyan, at ikaw ang unang makakatikim sa imbento kong alak," he smirked. Napailing na lang ako. Tiningnan naman niya ako, may yabang talaga sa mukha. "Kaya magpa-autograph ka na sa 'kin bago ako sisikat!" And then he laughed like an idiot.

I frowned and raised a brow. I lifted the glass and looked at him. "So, ano name ng alak na ito?"

He cleared his throat. "Actually, wala pa 'yang pangalan, pero dahil nagtanong ang magandang binbini, ang tawag muna diyan ay..."he paused a bit. He put his finger on the side of his head, maybe he was thinking.

I groaned. "Iinumin ko na lang 'to!" I said and was about to drink when he grabbed my arm, stopping me from drinking.

I narrowed my eyes. "Ano?" I asked.

He sighed and closed his eyes for a while. I groaned again. What's with him, ba?

"Ang tawag sa alak na 'yan ay..." he paused again.

I mimicked his voice because I was impatient. I wanted to drink the liquor he gave me but he was annoying!

Napatalon ako sa gulat when he raised his right hand and opened his eyes. He looked at me and smiled.

"Alcohol..."he announced.

My jaw dropped because I was expecting this liquor to have a unique name but it turns out this way. He was happy because of the name he invented for his so-called inventory.

Tinampal ko naman ang kamay niya kaya binitiwan na niya ang braso ko. I drank the liquor and my throat numbed after I drank the remaining liquor on the glass. I swear it was more stronger than you think and I like it.

The bartender himself waited for my reaction. I gave a thumbs up and requested for another glass.

I ended up enjoying the drinking session all by myself while the bartender serving me his best liquor. My mind was not on the right state and my eyes were blurry. Ang tanging ginawa ko lang ay ang ngumiti dahil ang sarap sa feeling at nakakawala ng problema. He should have named his liquor to a happy alcohol since it made me happy.

"Isa pa," I drunkenly said.

"Last na 'to, Miss, ah!" He reminded me. "Lasing na lasing ka na!"

I frowned and rolled my eyes. "Ano ba ang ginagawa sa bar? 'Di ba naglalasing?"

I took the glass he served and drank it. But it didn't finish because some intruder grabbed my arm and took away the glass away from me.

Nanlumo ako at nilingon ang intruder. His face were blurry but his figure screamed ruthless. Even in my blurry vision, I saw him clenching his jaw. I even felt his warm hand behind my back.

"Sino ka?" I drunkenly asked and smiled at him. Maybe it's time for me to flirt.

He didn't response but then he grabbed my right arm and put it on his shoulder. What is he planning?

"Sir, Ikaw po ba ang boyfriend niya?" I heard the bartender asked.

I glanced at him fiercely. I don't have a boyfriend. Pero parang namanhid ang lalamunan ko at ang dila ko kasi hindi na ako masyado makapagsalita. Ang tanging narinig ko lang ay ang malakas na music kaya napasabay ako sa pagkembot.

"Yes, I am," a deep voice answered before he looked at me.

I smiled at him but I suddenly put my hand to my mouth nang maramdaman ko na masusuka ako.

"What's wrong?" a concerned voice asked.

"I want to vomit!"

Bumaba ako sa high-chair and was about to go when my stomach can't take it anymore. Sumuka ako sa kung saan at narinig ko ang isang malutong na mura.

"s**t!"

I blinked twice and looked at the ceiling. I was planning to go to my friend, to Cheska kasi uuwi na ako, but then my world suddenly twirled. Bumilis ang paghinga ko and all I see is blurry!

The last thing I heard was a man shouting for my name before I closed my eyes. I fainted.
