Ester
Ester meets with her son and sets up a plan to meet with her brother. Mongoose wants to take him out, but Ester knows it would start a war they are not ready for. Ester knows her brother has many old ways that she still believes in secretly to herself.
To this day, Talking Bird has not forgiven his sister for betraying her pack. The lure of the gold and the fancy words of their chief won her over. She left her pack and turned her beliefs to follow their evil. To Talking Bird, that was an unforgivable deed.
Ester mind links her brother. 'Meet me at the falls.' She knows he won't answer her, but she keeps up the idea he will at least show up.
Talking Bird gets her link. He really doesn't want to see her, but yet his instinks tell him he must. He links her back. 'I will be there.'
