CHAPTER 11: AFTER EFFECTS

The rehearsal was done and Tina was briefed about what she has to tell the media, every word, every action was rehearsed because Yousufa wanted that to happen.

It was already two in the afternoon, the reporters started to gather in the conference area of PG GROUPS. When it was three and every one was already in the hall, Tina entered the area with one of her bodyguard. She slowly walked towards the stage and stood in front of everyone.

As soon as she was on the stage there was chaos everywhere. The reporters were fighting with each other to ask questions to her first. There was noise all over in the hall and the reporters slowly started to gather down the stage aiming at Tina also. The staff saw all that and came in to control the whole situation and asked the reporters to be calm. When everyone was quite, Tina started to speak.

"Good afternoon, to everyone of you. Thank you to all for coming over here. Today I am here to clarify certain things in the media and to everyone outside. I took Yousufa's place in the HF CREATIONS show because I wanted to bring myself into limelight. Yousufa and my company PG GROUP has nothing to do with it. It was all my fault, I replaced Yousufa without her consent, and my manager has nothing to do with it, she was just following my order. So I request you to please keep Yousufa and my manager out of it, they are innocent."

Tina completed her statement as per what Pranay and Yousufa wanted her to say. She just got seated in her chair and saw everyone's response.

The reporters were not able to digest that Tina accepted her mistake this easily. They have never seen any celebrity accept there mistake this way. Everyone else always try to manipulate the media and turn the things around to get through that, but Tina accepted her mistake straight away. They were forcing that there was something not right in it.

Pranay, but was really above Tina's expectations. He released a statement stating that Tina has replaced Yousufa many times before also without the consent of the company. But the company is giving her another chance hoping that she would change her behaviour and won't be this careless from next time. Pranay released this statement just to reciprocate Ritika's earlier statement and make everyone believe that previously also whatever Tina did was because she wanted to gain limelight and Yousufa had nothing to do with it.

The conference was over and news spread like lightning in the town. Everyone started hating Tina, the one who thought that Tina was being forced now turned opposite to her. There was hatred all around for Tina.

Ranvijay was in a meeting when the conference happened so he was unaware with everything that Tina said and how she took all the blame on her. He got a little bit of information from his colleagues about the ongoing news but that was not enough for him. He wanted to know everything, every single detail so he ordered his assistant to brief him on that. After knowing everything he just listened to it and didn't did anything about it.

Ranvijay's assistant was shocked to see that he was not doing anything regarding that, then he mastered all the courage he had to ask him that, will he help her or not? On countering with that question he just said that he won't help her this time. He already has helped her twice and he would this time like to see how she would get out of this situation on her own. He wanted to see that whether Tina is actually that powerfull being his wife or no.

After the press conference Pranay realised that the attention of everyone now has come and stopped on Tina that he wanted to divert on Yousufa. He went to Tina and requested her to go and check on Yousufa in the hospital and say sorry to her on a live show. He reasoned that doing so will help improve Tina's bad image in front of everyone.

Tina knew why he was saying all that, it was not as he was concerned about her image or something it was just because Yousufa wanted to degrade her infront of everyone. It was just because she wanted to make Tina say sorry to her to satisfy her own ego. Tina thought about it for a while before saying yes to Pranay. He himself was really shocked that Tina agreed to this as he expected her to say a clear no to him.

Tina called her manager Ritika and told her everything and just instructed her to release the photos of Pranay and Yousufa after her live sorry show is done.

She thought about a second before calling Ranvijay thinking that should she call him or no, but thinking about what he said the previous night she called him.

- Hello,... Ranvijay?

- I asked you not to call me Ranvijay... haven't I??

- Sorry, it would take some time for me to get accustomed to that. Tina said biting her lip as if he could see her. –"listen I called you to inform you that Pranay planned a live show for me where I am going to say sorry to Yousufa.

Ranvijay cutted her in between and spoke

- And you are gonna do that? You are gonna let yourself go this down? Do you want me to do something? I can't let that happen to you. Ranvijay's voice seemed so urget and there were traces of tension in his voice.

- Ranvijay,...

- RV. He corrected her

- Yup, RV, don't worry nothing like that is gonna happen and you don't need to do anything regarding this. I can handel all this on my own. The reason why I called you was don't get tensed by seeing any news about me. Just call me and ask directly if something bother you. Ok?? And I want to go home from hospital baby could you please send someone to pick me up from the hospital, I don't even know where our house is.

- Ok I won't take tension and just text me when you will leave I will send someone to pick you up and let's catch up at dinner about whatever that Pranay did to you or could do. Because I swear to God this is the last time I am not going to do something to him for making you do something like this.

Tina was overwhelmed by what Ranvijay was saying because in all these years of being with Pranay she never felt this kind of security and protection from him, what knowing Ranvijay and being with him for a single day gave her. They hung up the call and Tina left for the hospital to meet Yousufa.
