CHAPTER 10: EXPOSED

Everyone in the office were looking towards Tina with a strange stare, they all were passing judgemental looks in her direction. The staff who always used to like her and wish her were now acting like what all happened is because of her. It's her fault that there is a case now filed against the company now.

Yousufa spread a rumor that it was Tina only who always used to use her relationship with Pranay and force him to take her place in many shows, since her popularity has gone down the hill now, she replaces Yousufa in shows hoping someone would recognise her and take Tina instead of her and from that Yousufa's career will destroy.

Tina ignored everyone on her way and directly went inside Pranay's office facing him straight.

Pranay was not looking at her, his back was facing her when he spoke "so you finally came" anger evident from his voice.

- Yes, why are you saying like that? What happened? Tina tried to keep her voice calm and tried to sound innocent as anger was pooling inside her.

- Don't tell me you don't know what your manager did? If you didn't have her the orders then where did she got all this courage from? Pranay's voice was laced with anger.

- Pranay we were going to get married yesterday, why would I do something like that? Your career means a lot to me as well, why would I do something like this.... to create a rift between us?? Tina asked, now crying to make him buy her idea.

- Then just answer my last question, why did you wore that statement piece in your leg when you knew the biggest difference between you and Yousufa are your legs? He was now sounding irritated by her answers and sobs.

- I had no other choice, that piece was really loose for me to wear in my hand, so I wore it as an anklet. Yousufa's assistant was also present over there you can ask him what happened there.

- I have already asked him, he has already told me what happened there, so no need to cover youself up. Anger laced his voice.

- Then there is no way I am explaining myself to you, you are already believing an outsider other than your fiancee, who you were going to get married with yesterday. Tina started to sob

- Everyone recognised you in the show was your fault only, now you need to take the blame on yourself because I don't want to risk my career because of my future wife. He said it politely

- Saying sorry to everyone means it was my fault, which was the other way round. You also know I went to that show just because you told me too. And if someone saw my face from under the mask how is it my fault, I covered my face properly. She started to sob harder to make let go of the idea of press conference.

- Please Tina you also know there was your mistake in it, even if just a bit, but there was. And my career and company will completely vanish if you don't do this. Please.. baby, do this for us. Yousufa is really lucky to have you as her friend and also there is nothing to worry about we are going to get married so everyone will forget about this news soon after our marriage will broke out. Yousufa is so lucky to have you as her friend who would do anything in her power to help her. He was so sure that Tina would agree to all what he was saying.

- Ok, I will hel you but not because I feel guilty but because I love you, but Pranay remember this is the last time I am doing something like this. I won't do anything like this again. Her voice was stern and she looked in Pranay's eyes with disgust that was not visible to him.

Pranay realised that he became way to angry at Tina and instantly softened his gaze and cooled down his temper because he was aware of he didn't so that Tina might change her mind.

It was only then when he saw her closely and noticed that she was looking very different today.

- You look different today, this ethnic suit and accessories and all what happened to you? Pranay asked looking confused

- Yeah, I changed completely in one night...no? Tina asked sarcastically.

Pranay walked towards her and placed his hand on her shoulders which she removed swiftly, because of the promise she did to Ranvijay. She promised him that she won't let anyone else touch her even. –"I won't let any other men come near me even, trust me I would be loyal to you."

Tina came out of her stance because of Pranay's voice who has been talking to her about Yousufa for long now. She looked into his eyes as if trying to read what's is in his heart and realised that he had been saving Yousufa like this for long enough but she was the only one who never seemed to notice it before.

- Whatever Pranay I might leave now. Whenever is the conference just inform me I'll come, and by the way when are we going again to register our marriage? Tina asked sternly to see what is his reaction going to be like.

- Baby,.... after all this ends we will register out marriage, don't worry. And there is a small rehearsal before the Press conference, it is at 3 this afternoon but before that we both will be having lunch together at your favourite restaurant. He said thinking that will make her mood light and happy and she would agree to say what all he wants her to say.

Tina came out of Pranay's cabin and went straight to her cabin and called Ritika

- Hello, Ritika,... Pranay is asking me to take the blame all on myself. He is again protecting Yousufa. Did you do what I asked you to do? Have you collected all the evidences of him and Yousufa being in a relationship and of him cheating me?

- Yes, I have all the photos and videos of them together and even videos of them together in the hospital where they are kissing each other. That is scandalous, when do you want me to release them? Ritika could not hold back her excitement of destroying Pranay.

- After the press conference release the photos and keep the videos for later. Ritika i am so sorry because of me you are also dragged in this. But I promise you that I would not let anything happen to you. Her voice was determined and even sad because of Ritika being dragged into a matter due to her.

- Tina, you don't need to say sorry. I am just happy that you have found that he is not right for you. They have been playing games with you for long, but now that you have changed I am happy to see that, just don't stop before destroying them. They should feel all the pain and everything you have felt in last 3 years.

- Yeah,... I will make sure of that. Now you just need to be more careful and be prepared for everything. Bye, now I have to go.

Tina hung up Ritika's call and was not sure that whether she should call and tell Ranvijay everything or no. She was thinking that how will he react when he would know that she was going on a lunch date with Pranay. At the end she decided not to tell Ranvijay anything and proceeded with the lunch with Pranay.

After reaching the restaurant Tina realised that it was nothing in comparison to her lunch and dinner with Ranvijay, he prepared specially for their meals while Pranay just brought her to lunch because she was helping Yousufa and him. That lunch was just given as a reward to Tina for everything that she was going to do for them. He though arranged for a candel light lunch for both of them, but now that is not going to affect Tina. She has now no hope left in her for Pranay and even she has started to fall for Ranvijay.

After being seated Pranay told her that he had ordered her favourite sirloin steak. Tina was shocked for a few seconds and thought –"now its enough, after being in a relationship for 6 years you don't even know what my favourite dish is? Really Pranay?? and you tell me that I love you?" their was just a smile on her lips she didn't even react to what Pranay said because now it didn't even bother her anymore.

Suddenly the chef of the restaurant came in with their food and talked to Tina –"Miss, hope you enjoy your favourite filet steak and congratulations on your wedding from the entire restaurant."

Pranay was shocked and nervous at the same time on hearing that he didn't even remember Tina's favourite dish and she didn't even react to that, but on the other hand Tina didn't even bother to look at Pranay and talked to the chef. –"Thank you so much. You have a sharp memory I only told you once that I prefer filet steak and you remember it till now. And by the way we are not married." Tina empathised a lot on the last sentence when her phone vibrated revealing a text from Ranvijay.

–"Hope you like the steak, it is from me and understood what the chef was telling...):"

–"Thanks. By the way how do you know that I am going to be here? "

–"I can find anything I want to find and most things automatically come my way, baby. :)"

Tina thought –"ok, so Ranvijay ordered for the steak, is he somewhere near" she started to look for Ranvijay because his messages looked like he was somewhere near and keeping an eye on her –"the chef congratulated me on my wedding then with Ranvijay. Oh my god, RV you are this sincere and caring I never know" Tina blushed at her thought while texting Ranvijay from under the table when Pranay looked at her and called her to catch her attention.

"Tina just finish your lunch and then we need to leave for the conference also, by the way what are you doing?"

"Nothing, I am just done. We can leave in five minutes".

Tina also thought that she can't stand this lunch with Pranay in front of her. With him this close to her, she always have an urge to yell at him, tell him that she knew everything, her mood gets upset when she is with her. But just thinking about what Ranvijay did for her just now even not being close to her makes her feel happy and light.
