CHAPTER 16: COMEBACK

Tina's POV

Ranvijay was pestering me continuously as we ate breakfast, regarding that he will drop me to office on his way to his company. That is not what I wanted as I haven't taken a shower yet and he has already gotten late, now because of waiting for me to get ready and dropping me to my office which is completely opposite from his would end him reaching his company after noon, that is definitely not something that I want.

So I just forced him to go to his office, rather then wasting time to convience me.

Ranvijay left for his office which was not easy on my part for sure, as he was hell persistent. He kissed me goodbye and left making me agree that we would go to a drive after the dinner.

I also got ready and left for the office, only this time the gazes that were blaming me the other day changed as sympathetic towards me. I walked over to my room, welcomed by Ritika who didn't look happy at all.

"So, is it about Pranay or Ranvijay? You didn't tell anyone here about him,... right? Listen I don't want anyone to know about him." I almost whispered in her ear, fearing someone would listen.

"Tina, as we anticipated Pranay threw me out of the job, neither do I care about it but yup, I am not going to be your manager anymore. Now what will happen". she was sounding like she didn't care about her job at all.

"Don't worry about anything else, you'll be my personal assistant from now on, I can appoint one on my own and the company has nothing to do with it." I assured her about her job.

After talking to Ritika I left for Pranay's office, his secretary told me that he wanted to talk to me regarding something.

There was nothing left in me when I exited his office, the lies, the myths, the blind trust on him. Even after everything that happened he still tried to make me believe that he is not guilty and did nothing wrong. He tried to make amends with me and again tried to use me to clear the air around their relationship which I refused.

I told him that I trust him and would still marry him but would not help him this time with the mess he created and sternly told him I had nothing to do with what Ritika posted, but still choose her as my assistant and the company had nothing to do with it as it is already written in my contract that I can myself choose my personal assistant.

Ritika always took more care of me than even Pranay did. When he saw me with Ritika he was angry and looked at me suspiciously but then I just smirked at him and told what I am planning to do.

He tried to interfere with that but I just got him straight to the point that he has nothing to do with whom I choose as an personal assistant.

After leaving the building Tina sat in her car feeling exhausted, just as she was about to close her eyes to fell asleep, her phone rang. While seeing the called ID there was a jolt of happiness that ran around her body . Her gloomy mood suddenly became nice.

Ritika was notice the change in Tina's mood from the rear-mirror. She sighed deeply making Tina frown at her, but she gathered herself together not showing Ranvijay how she was feeling right now.

"Hey, are you free?? I wanted to meet you around, and take you to show you the place I found for you." he was not beating around the bush and came straight to the point.

"Don't you think, you are really straightforward??" she said taunting him

Ranvijay just laughed out loud on the other line, realising he didn't even greet her, but now he was really wishing to see her soon so he still insisted on the point of her coming over.

"I have left the office, and in my car. Where do you want us to meet?? I can get over there."

"Uhh,... I thought of picking you up, but since you have already left. There is a cafe outside my office, just come there I am waiting for you there only. See you soon love. I need to sign some documents before you show up. So I'll hung up now." with that he hung up the call.

After the call was disconnected there was a wide smile on Tina's face which she could not let go.

She just instructed Ritika to drive her to the cafe Ranvijay asked her to come and when they reached there they already saw Ranvijay standing against his car and waiting for her to come.

Tina asked Ritika to go back to her home and went forward to meet Ranvijay.

Ranvijay was aware that they were in the city and both of them might get spotted by the paparazzi around so he asked her to just sit in the car and then he followed after.

He drove the car quickly avoiding the main roads and stopped near a cafe distant from the eyes of the media. He immediately hugged her and leaned his head to kiss her.

The kiss started as just a peck, but before she could realise what happened he dipped in again and kissed her hard this time. Biting her lower lip he pushed his tongue inside her cavern and dominated the kiss. They seperated only when both of them were out of air.

He laid them both then to the house that he has selected for her.

"How did you find the house this early? We only talked about it last night and now, you alreday have a place. Wow!!!" she could not hide that she was really surprised.

"I texted my assistant about that thing yesterday only. And also asked him to find the condominium at the earliest." he tried to explain.

"Moreover, you were so sure you didn't want to live in that place so, I just catalysed the process. By the way, I hope you would like the place, I choosed it myself for you." he grinned at her.

Tina couldn't contain her laugh anymore looking at Ranvijay just like a child who did something that needs to be praised by others.

"Well, we haven't seen it yet! so let's wait how your choice turns out to be" she said to tease him more.

He glanced at her smiling and then again focused on the road back.

They reached the place shortly after, it was located in the city centre. Just opposite the beach with a magnificent view.

Ranvijay parked the car in the appartment building and lead the way towards the top floor of the building. There was a private elevator in which they headed, leaving Tina in total shock.

"Private elevator?? Like seriously... this much is also not needed. You won't be spotted in a normal building either"

"Do you wish to be mocked by the reporters every day and night and blow up our cover?? Because if that is the thing I am completely ready for it" he said smiling at her and left her with no choice.

They reached the top floor and greeted the broker there. The person Ranvijay appointed to tour them the place was quite delighted to see them over there.

When the door opened Tina was shocked to see that it was not just a apartment but a damn penthouse!!!

It was really spacious and nice. They toured the whole house with the person explaining everything to them. The place was still empty with just some basic necessities. Tina couldn't deny the fact that she loved the place and was ready to move in.

She walked towards the balcony of the bedroom only to find the mesmerizing view of the ocean and the city in front of her eyes. She fell in love with this place instantly and asked Ranvijay that she is interested in buying the place.

Ranvijay was more than delighted to listen to that and asked the broker to complete the formalities as soon as possible, if possible today itself as there was still much time left for the day to end.

The broker nodded reluctantly as it was quite difficult to complete all the formalities in such a short amount of time but being asked by Ranvijay he couldn't deny to it as well.

He asked about the how they would like to pay the cost as he was sure buying a house is no mess for Ranvijay, but he was shocked when Tina handed him a cheque of the complete payment instead of him. The broker noticed that Ranvijay was about to give him the the amount when Tina stopped him and paid herself instead.

Time passed quickly that day and before eight in the night the formalities were done and the keys of the house were given to Tina. It was because of Ranvijay only that such a time consuming task was done so instantly.

She was so happy that now she could finally start a new life with him in it.

Whatever Tina is thinking will it go the same way, she wants it to go, or life has other plans for Tina and Ranvijay??
