CHAPTER 17: CONTRACT

The week passed by quickly. The entire week Pranay was busy getting the news of the pictures down but it got him nowhere. The projects that Yousufa already signed were being called of and the one that were in the negotiations were being cancelled.

HF CREATIONS that just a week before were against Tina and even banned her called Pranay cancelling Yousufa's contract and asking for Tina to be their brand ambassador and spokesperson.

Pranay did his best to negotiate the deal and laso offered them any other model from their company but they were still stuck with Tina, and even threatened him to cancel the contract. He was left with no choice other than to let Tina work with their company otherwise PG GROUP would have to face a fear lose that he won't be able to define to the board of directors and his position would be in threat.

The board of directors were already questioning him continuously for his constant attention on Yousufa only and neglecting the other models of the company. Now if he decides to break the deal with HF CREATIONS he would be definitely doomed.

Yousufa was still mad at Pranay for letting Tina get the project she was a part of and now when her career was in danger he was preferring Tina over her. She was sure she could not let Tina take Pranay away from her, so she used her child to mold things in her favour with Pranay.

She suggested him that he should ask Tina to give up the project by herself and focus on her personal life more as now she was going to get married to him very soon, and also tell the same excuse to all the other companies that have been requesting to get Tina for their project that she won't be working for some time now as she was busy with her personal life.

He did as Yousufa asked her to do but to his suprise the reply he got from the representative of HF was not quite pleasing to his ears.

He got to know that Tina had already signed the deal with them as they directly approached her, since PG GROUP was not cooperating with them and the higher authority of the company only wanted Tina for the shoot.

Saying Pranay was shocked would be and understatement, he was still processing the information when Tina came into his office with a file in her hands.

She just glanced at Yousufa sitting besides Pranay and quickly started to speak what she was about to tell him.

"Pranay, I have accepted the offer of HF CREATIONS and the higher authority of the company has no problem with that, so now I am going to work with them" she simply stated.

Pranay was speechless and cannot do anything to stop her, he already knew that in his heart but still tried to reason her.

Pranay insisted her to turn down the project and give it to Yousufa and focus on her personal life as they were going to get married soon but as he expected Tina refused him.

She told him sternly that she is going to work on that project and if he keeps on supporting Yousufa only their relationship would soon be in trouble and PG GROUP will also suffer because of that.

She also didn't want him to notice that she has already moved on and is now dating someone else, so she quickly added that she would stop working and focus on their life once they get married officially, but as there is time in that she can still manage to work.

With that on cue, she recieved Ranvijay's call saving her from listening to what Pranay was saying to her as she excused herself from his office and went to her cabin.

"Hii, baby...." his voice was sweet as always.

"Hii,.... how come you called at this hour aren't you in some boring meeting!" she laughed

Listening her laughing only made Ranvijay's heart warm and he also laughed with her.

"I was, but it just ended. Care to do a favour for me?" he asked

"Ofcourse, what can I do for my baby" she asked teasing him.

"Come down, I'll be waiting for you in front of your office in 20 mins, I am famished and want you to join me....would you like to come??" he asked a bit hesitant of her answer.

"And I am having a meeting after that also so please, before the meeting could we meet??" he added with high expectations.

"I would love to oblige to your command, see you. Text me once you reach I'll come down." she said while blushing.

They hung up the call while Tina was still blushing over the fact that how much time Ranvijay takes for her from his so much busy schedule.

In the past one week Ranvijay has always made sure to spend time with her, however busy he might be. He is always there with her either on breakfast or for dinner and in just a week he has helped her shift to her new house.

He helped with everything from packing to shifting to shopping for her new place. He has been there through all.

Tina was waiting for Ranvijay's text when Yousufa came into her cabin unannounced and saw that Tina was blushing reading her and Ranvijay's old conversations.

Yousufa thought that she was just happy because she managed to take away her contract. She was fuming in anger and vent out her entire anger on her.

"How dare you? How can you do this Tina? You haven't performed on stage like that for the last three years and now you are taking my biggest contract from me!!" Yousufa was beyond angry. She spat venom on Tina continuously but before Tina could reply to her or counter her back her phone chimed.

It was a text from Ranvijay revealing that he is downstairs waiting for her to come.

A smile crept on Tina's face after reading the message despite of the argument she is still having with Yousufa.

Yousufa seemed to notice that something was not right in Tina's behaviour today and also she was not fighting with her, when she was about to say something else to make Tina more aggrieved, Tina stopped her.

She gestured with her hand to Yousufa, and speaking with her eyes as if stating that she had said enough and it's time to stop as she doesn't want to fight with her now.

"Look Yousufa I have something more important to tackle with right now, so if you are done with your reasons I might take your leave."

With that Tina left signalling Ritika to follow her, leaving a startled Yousufa behind her.

Yousufa got the intuition that Tina was going out with someone and was cheating on Pranay but could not prove it right now, as Ranvijay was not leaving a single trace behind that he was with Tina, just as she wanted him to do.

Tina asked Ritika to go to her old house as now she can use it. Ritika lived in a rented apartment which cost her a lot and Tina knew about that, since now she is living in her new condominium her old house is not in use and Ritika could use it and change it accordingly to her requirements.

After instructing Ritika Tina went to find the car of Ranvijay, but was not able to spot one as there was no high end luxury car there on the.

Ranvijay was sitting in his normal car seeing a confused Tina and he was well aware of the reason. So he just waved at her from inside the car and when Tina noticed that Ranvijay was sitting in a normal car not in s luxury car that he usually drives she was quite shocked.

She was still processing the car they were in when she sat on the shotgun seat, but was completely blown off when she sees what he was wearing. That was not definitely not some official attire, Ranvijay was wearing casual clothes.

She raised her brow at him with a questioning look, that only earned her a chuckle from him.

"Why are you looking at me like this?? Are you going to eat me for lunch!!" he said smirking

Tina was more furious now after hearing this, he already knew what she wanted to ask still was beating around the bush.

"You said you are going to have a meeting after this, so you would show up like this??"

"Ah,...that, I am sorry I wanted to tell you this before but I was not sure would you agree or no, so I just made a excuse." he blurted out.

"What I won't agree?? And what excuse you made up?" she asked out of curiosity.

"I have no meeting after this, I just wanted to see you so I came, and also have a drive around the town with you." he said slightly smiling at her.

Tina couldn't express how happy she was with what he said. In so many years no one has ever done something for her like this, never took the time out to meet her, be with her. Do she was really happy.

"And what about the car, I thought you only drive luxury cars." she was still confused about it.

"Haha, that's not true, I don't like driving those cars when I am relaxing, it attracts attention. I am really a very normal person Tina and I don't like getting attention or being pegged as the title of billionaire or something. I really wanted to live a simple life.

But if you don't like these cars no issues, next time we will drive in the luxury car only, but when you will drive and I will relax, I hate driving in the city. It's hectic." he said casually.

But Ranvijay was not aware that whatever he said moved Tina a lot. She was never a fan of money or luxury, she just wanted a comfortable and simple life, no show-off and attraction from other and Ranvijay was just like that.

"I love these cars more. We are quite really similar in these things. I also don't like these show-off things. And trust me I am really keen to know how the real Ranvijay Rawat is." she replied.

"Ranvijay I want you in my life forever" she said seriously after a while.

Ranvijay was silent for a second, there was flash of guilt in his eyes that Tina was not able to recognise, but then he said.

"Don't fall in love with me. I'm the devil." he warned hiding an unexpected revelation.

"I know, but I still want you." she said.

"Do you know, what a devil is??" he asked in amusement.

"An angel filled with pain." she smiled.

Hearing what she said warmed his cold heart and a fear started to rush down his body.

What if she gets to know the truth? Will she still love him? Will she still trust him? Would they still be the same.

Fear started engulfing him as he started slightly feel what his life would be without this girl. How these past few weeks with her changed him completely, now he was incomplete without her.

What if he loose her? Will he be able to survive. He was lost in his thoughts not talking till they arrive at their location
