Chapter 8

Clary’s POV

 Alex leans in slowly to kiss me as our lips meet I feel the fireworks threw my body feeling like I’m about to melt. My mind is lost not knowing what I’m doing and I pull away knowing my lips are red and swollen as I put my fingers on my lips. “That was amazing for our first kiss” I say with my arms on Alex’s shoulders “well I have been dying to do that since I first saw you” Alex said with his hands firmly on my waist. “I would like to take you out on a date to know you better” Alex said sounding nervous waiting for my reply, “That would be nice but I would need to know how to dress” I said with a smile on my face hoping he would give me some detail on what he had in mind. “how about a nice dress and will pick you up at 7pm” Alex replied with a smirk on his face as he walks out the bathroom, I look at him with a confused expression on my face wondering what he is up too.

Once I’ve changed I head straight to Jace who is looking at his phone, “so we need to talk about all this that’s going on” I said determined to find out what is actually going on “Well I think we should be talking to mom and dad about this” Jace said as he wants to find out what is going on as well.

 Rose’s POV

“Rhys, we need to tell the kids everything before my father finds where we are” I say worrying for the safety of my family and pack, “Rose sweetie stop worrying, Clary and Jace will be told at the family meal tonight” Rhys said more straight to the point. “I will contact them to make sure they don’t have plans, walking out the kitchen the front door opens with a very happy looking Alex, I guess he and Clary have made some progress. “Morning Alex you seem in a good mood” I say with a big smile on my face for how delighted he seems “Morning Rose, yes I am, Clary agreed to go on a date with me tonight” Alex said looking slightly worried “Have you got something planned nice” I ask as my excitement grows for how things are happening for those two “um…yeah kind of” Alex replies with a concerned look on his face. “Alex calm down I will write you a list of things Clary likes” I reply feeling happy for my daughter and to see Alex look relieved once I told me, “that would be very helpful Rose, I will come back down shortly just going to have a shower” Alex says running upstairs seeming a very happy lad. Returning to the kitchen “Rhys don’t call the kids Clary has a date with Alex” I say barely containing my excitement “We will make the family dinner for tomorrow night dear this has been put off for way to long” Rhys says looking determined to get this over with. I on the other hand would love to keep my babies in the dark forever as they don’t know that they are royalty of both vampire or wolfs. Just before the twins was born, the kingdom was attacked we was only meant to be staying here temporary. I fell in love here so much that we could raise our children and keep them safe, our pack followed us while the kingdom was being repaired. Alex came into the kitchen pulling me out of my deepest thoughts “Rose have you got much thought to where I should take her out?” Alex asked having worry come though is voice and in his eye. "Yes dear how about you take her to the beach for a meal i can get some pack memebers to make it look romantic for you" I say as i know Clary likes the beach and she hasn't been for a while. I also know Clary loves dancing i wounder "Alex how good are you at dancing" I ask partly thinking out loud "well my mom made me go ballroom dancing but please don't tell anyone i have a reputation to keep" Alex says looking sheepish. As i writting down ideas for Alex the phone started ringing i put the pen down and walked to the livingroom "Hello" I say as we wasn't expecting anyone to call. "Rose it's me get the kids and get out now Damon is on his way please" Emily said is such a panic, our father is coming for my children and i will never allow this to happen "Emily how did he find out and i will get Rhys to call them back now" I reply to her and put her on hold "RHYS GET THE KIDS HERE NOW" i shout worry starting to seep from me and tears brim my eyes. My father wasn't always like this, he was caring and loving, he always wanted grandchildren but he changed when my mother was killed he lost himself and all he thinks about is power. i return to the phone "Emily are you coming with us?" I ask her she as been keeping us one step a head of him all these years "I will join you my sister but I have sent Joanna to you she is loyal" Emily says knowing all to well who to trust and not in our clan. "Ok Emily thank you for warning us stay safe" I say to my sister she is younger then me and she as always been my best friend. Rhys comes is looking panicked "we have rouges Clary is with Chase, Edward and Jace" Rhys said which made me feel better the four of them was together Alex comes in hearing rouges and Clary he runs out to find her.
