Clary’s POV

Jace and myself was walking to the falls so we could talk about the stranger behaviour of our parents and who this auntie Emily was. “Jace have you ever heard of an aunt Emily or mom ever saying she had a sister?” I ask him seeing as all this started when we turned 18 “no I don’t remember another aunt only aunt Gemma maybe she knows” Jace said sounding as if he is hiding something which I will be finding out now. “Spill what are you holding back” I say annoyed that he would try and hide something from me. “When Luke had you dad received a call, it was strange he called her Emily, he also thanked her. Him and mom was looking strange at each other because Alex and myself was in the room” Jace said saying it all in one go. Feeling determined I turn around and head straight home to confront both my parents to find out what they are hiding from myself and Jace. As we were walking through the woods we both was mind linked “Clary, Jace we are under attack north border” Chase said cutting it straight off, we both looked at each other “s**t” we both said in union and ran fast to the north border dodging trees and fallen trees. I stopped just before we neared the clearing I smelled a strong scent of lingering death only means one thing vampires, a girl lands right in front to attack me. As I pined her to the tree which was easy as she didn’t put up much of a fight, just as I was ready to attack Jace stopped me. I was stunned when he did that but what shocked me the most was what came next. “Mine!!” Jace growled with his eyes black which means Hunter is out he grabbed the girl and nuzzled in her neck taking in her scent. I was taken out of my shocked state when Chase mind linked me again “CLARY WE NEED HELP FROM THE ROGUES” Chase shouted knocking some sense back into me I ran leaving Jace with the blood sucker strange feeling really that I am part vampire. Once at the clearing I stand strong with Chase and 8 rouges circling us, seeing if we are weak. “What is your business here rouge” I say using my alpha voice being on my land I’ve seen what rouges can do to a pack they make me sick, “We have been sent by our leader for the twin alphas, but I see we have one of you” he says with an evil glint in his glowing blood red eyes, “Who is your leader?” I say wanting to find out more before they die a slow and painful death, “Chase I want this one alive and taken to the cells” I say through mind link “Sure thing I will relay the message” Chase says while mind linking the warriors of our plan. “Our leader is someone who you should be scared of he is Damon” the rouge says looking very pleased with himself, a sickly smile made its way up on his face as he was looking straight at me, until he attacked me which I was quick to dodge which he ended up eating dirt and I laughed mentally. Out the corner of my eye I see Edward with some more warriors coming up behind them, I noticed too late that the leader of these rouge’s lunged for me with his claws extended they ran across my stomach slicing my skin as his hand moved down. A burning pain brings me to my knees, black spots are in the corner of my eyes as I lose blood, I see him stalking towards me chuckling as he gets closer I start to slip in to the darkness. “Shouldn’t have come up against me princess, can you feel the poison” He whispers laughing at me how could I let this happen with all my training, how I wish I never lost focus for that few seconds, has I see his hand coming near me to hold me in place I hear the most scarcest roar I have ever heard I drop to the floor due to it shacking “now who’s f****d” I manage to say to the rouge. Before darkest fully takes over me I see Hunter running like lighting towards me but I also see a wolf and before I make eye contact I know its Alex, my vision becomes more darker till I am fully submerged in to darkness. I hear one of the rouges shout “Ryland” which I think is this leader if so Ryland I hope to meet you again just to kill you myself. All the voices become like whispers, I know I have lost so much blood I just hope I get to see Jace again.
