Jace’s POV
Myself and Clary was running towards the north border when I smelt the most amazing smell when I saw the most stunning woman I have ever seen that landed right in front of Clary ready to attack her. What gets my attention and Hunters attention is when Clary pins her to the tree “Mine!!” Hunter Took over to see his mate. Clary looked dazed for a short while then she took off running, I had pinned my mate up the tree I knew from her eye she was a vampire. “What is your name MATE!!” Hunter said being all protective of Clary as she was about to attack her, we really should trust our mate but how can I when she is part of the attack that is happening I wonder if she knows what is going on. “My name is Joanna” she said looking at me straight in the eyes with her chocolate brown eyes
