Chapter 15 Try Me b***h

After Jace and I got a shower we went down for dinner, when we walked in for dinner the Asshole Squad looked at me and scowled, I just scowled at them back. After me and Jace got some food we started walking over to where my dad was sitting and something no someone bumped into my shoulder I looked Cherry in the eyes and growled. I guess they didn't heed my warning. I looked her straight in the eyes, she looked me in the eyes to. Feeling my wolf come up to the surface, after a few seconds she looks down and growls. Kegan walks up and says

“I’m more Alpha than her, you should be too Cherry.”

“No you aren’t.” I growl

“Yes I am.”

“Try.” I growl. She looks up at me, time pauses as I wait for her to look away. After what felt like a few minutes, she finally looks down. “I thought you found out earlier that I am more alpha than you.” I growl. She walks away and bumps into making me uphend my tray and the food flies onto her. I start laughing she turns around and growls

“You did that on propose.”

“Well, actually you bumped into me. So you did that to yourself.” She didn’t say anything, as I laughed. With inhuman speed she runs up to me and punched me a few times before I fell. Before I could do anything Jace had her by the neck and was lifting her into the air. She grabbed his arms and started whining.

“Let her down.” I said

“No she hurt you.”

“I’m fine. Let her down.”

“No.” I was done with this

“Now.” I growled putting power behind my words.

“Fine.” He let her fall to the ground, I walked up to her and grabbed the collar of her shirt.

“Do you realize, that I’ve been training how to fight since I was ten. And that my father is an Alpha, which makes me an Alpha. So tell me why you hate me so much.”

“Because Jace is mine.” I laughed an evil laugh, her face got pale.

“You think he is yours.” I started laughing even more “Are you being serious or are you f*****g with me? Because I recall that me and him have the same tattoo and the same marks on our backs.” I laughed even more. I felt my teeth lengthen and my nails grow longer, her face got even paler. I let out a deadly growl making her whine. I leaned next to her ear and she showed me her neck, I whispered

“Not you or anyone else will take what is mine, this is my last warning. Do you understand?”

“Yes Alpha.” She whispered. I got up and walked over to Jace and hugged him, his scent calmed me down a bit.

*Come on, before you rip someone’s head off. I will get someone to bring food up.* I didn’t say anything as he lead me through the crowd as they parted for us to walk through.

When we got into Jace’s room he said

“That was amazing.”

“Thanks.” There was a knock at the door and me and Jace looked at each other questionly at who it was. I smelled the air and it smelled like Jane. Jace made no move to open the door, so I got up and opened the door to see that it was Jane. She gave me a hug and squeals

“Hey, what you did down there was amazing.”

“Thank you, it wasn’t even that amazing though.”

“Uh yeah it was, she has been trying to get Jace for forever.” I growled.

“I’m yours just like you said, and your mine.” Jace gets a spaced out face and then says “Your dad wants to see us.”

“Okay.” He grabs me by the hand and walks me down the stairs to my father's office, leaving Jane in the room. When we get to his office Jace knocks and my father says

“You can come in.” We walk in, he is sitting waiting for us. He gets up and gives me a hug, earning a growl from Jace and my father says

“River you did an amazing job defending your title as the next Luna, I’m so proud of you.”

“It wasn’t that big of a deal.”

“Yes it was.”

“How?”

“You defending your title as the next Luna.”

“Would you be proud if I wasn’t defending my title?” Without missing a beat he answered

“Of course you got in three fights against many wolves today and won all of them, I would be a horrible father if I wasn’t proud.”

“Oh okay. Thank you.”

“No problem. One of the cooks sent some food up to your room Jace.”

“Okay we probably should go eat it before it gets cold.”

After we eat the amazing food that one of the cooks brought up.

“Do you want to watch a movie?” Jace asks

“Yeah.”

“What movie do you wanna watch?” I took a second to think.

“We could watch The Giver.”

“I’ve never seen it.”

“Then we have to watch it.” I respond immediately

“Okay. The Giver it is.” Jace laughs. When we finished the movie we lay down to go to sleep in Jace’s cloud like bed.
