Chapter 3 Unheard Of

I walk inside and my mom says

“How was it.”

“Mom we can talk to each other in our heads.” She gasps

“You can?”

“Yeah.”

“That’s so unheard of. Maybe that’s why the chunk of blonde hair is so big. I need to talk to your father I’ll talk to you in the morning Goodnight.”

“Goodnight mom.”

I walk upstairs and get ready for bed. I jump as he starts to talk *Hey. When I got home I got questioned about why the chunk of auburn hair was so big.*

*Did you tell them about the mental connection we have?*

*Yeah they where shocked*

*My mom said maybe that’s why the chunk of hair is so big*

*Yeah. Goodnight. See you tomorrow. I’ll pick you up at 7 am. That okay?*

My alarm goes off, I wake up with a smile on my face for the first time in forever. *Good morning Luna*

*Okay *I walk into my closet and stand there for 5 minutes looking for something to wear. I finally choose and green tank top with a pair pants with holes in them. The holes weren’t there on accident.

“River. Can you come down here? Also can you ask Jace to come too?” Mom yells up the stairs

“Yeah. I’ll be down in a sec.” I yell back *Hey Jace, my parents want to talk with us. You almost here?*

*Yeah I’m walking up to the door now*

*Okay*I run down the stairs and get to the door right as he is about to knock. He sees me and pulls me into a hug. Mom walks to the door and says

“Hello Jace, me and my husband Milo would like to talk about your bond with our daughter. Let's go into the living room.” We walk into the living room and sit down.

“The bond you two have is a very unheard of bond. But we looked into it last night, the bond you two have is different than others. In your past life you two were together,but something horrible happened to you two in this past life. Both of you will start to have nightmares about what had happened. Sometimes you will be able to remember what happened in the dream but most of the time you won’t. Past pairs have said that if you guys sleep next to each other the nightmares won’t be as bad. We will have to talk with your host family about this.” We all just sit there in silence then dad says

“You two need to get to school.”

“Okay dad I love you.”

“I love you to River.” We get up and leave.
