You?
Lien's POV

7.30 am
Another day, another month, but still the same damn routine.
I wake up early, take a shower, change my clothes, and fix my hair, eat breakfast and I'm out the door to college.
"Morning Lien" My driver said
"Good morning Ivan" I greeted back as he opened the car door for me.
I was on first name basis with everyone who worked here, I didn't see them as employees, I saw them as a family. Maybe because I never had one.
But Ivan was especially close to me. Probably because he wasn't so much older, we had a closer friendship, while the others were like my older brothers.
"You ready?" He asked as he stepped in the car too.
"Mhm" I said as he started the car and drove to school.
I would way rather drive myself, but me and Dima both know how dangerous it could get if I did, so I always have Ivan driving me around. A driver isn't his only job, but If I'm honest, I prefer to not know what else he does. I prefer to keep this cute and cuddly picture I have of him stay the same forever. Even if I knew it wasn't real.
"We're here" He said as he parked the car in front of the schools gate.
"What really?!" I joked pretending to be amazed as I looked out of the window.
"Just get the hell out" He smiled as I got out of the car and walked towards the entrance.
I could feel all the eyes glued on me, but it wasn't anything new. Everyone stared due to me having a chauffeur who drives me in a black, luxury car every morning. I know that people talked too, about how I was adopted by a famous businessman. How we have a lot of money. How I'm dating the school’s football captain.
"Hey Lien" a girl greeted me on the way in.
"What’s up girl" Another did.
"Hi Lien" A guy said as I just smiled and nodded back to everyone.
I was centre of attention a lot of times, I would rather not but It's not terrible. Especially since I got the attention for being nice to everyone. The only time drama started coming was when me and Brian started dating. Keep in mind he is the football captain and girls are all over him all the time. And just like any other school we had mean girls who hated me. Not that I really care. Just tell them off and walk away.
As I reached my locker I saw a crowd standing there. What is going on? There's no freaking way there's already drama this early.
I walked closer only to discover my locker open and my stuff all over the floor, ripped to pieces and shreds. What the hell?
"Oh my god Lien" My best friend, Elena pulled me for a hug as I tried walking towards my locker making everyone turn around and look at me.
"Are you okay?" Our other friend, Alex who happens to be every schoolgirls dream asked.
The whole corridor turned quiet and everyone was now staring at me waiting for me to react. I stepped closer and noticed a note hanging low beneath the locker.
I stretched my arm taking it and putting it my pocket, without anybody seeing it. If I opened it now everybody would start asking what was on it and start looking at it.
"Lien!" I heard a voice yelling causing me to turn around to see Brian running towards me.
He laid his lips on mine pulling me closer. I swear I could feel all the glares everyone was giving us.
"Are you okay? Did anyone do anything?" He asked as he pulled away.
"No, just the locker" I said looking towards it and his gaze followed mine.
"What's going on here?" We heard the principle yell as all heads were turned towards him, some kids started explaining the situation before he spoke again.
"Lien, come to my office. Brian, Elena and Alex, you too" He said "Everyone else go to your classes" as the kids started slowly walking off while giving the locker one last look.
"Are you okay?" Elena said as she hugged me while we walked behind the principle and I just nodded.
When we arrived we all entered in silent and sat there not knowing what to say. We explained what we saw, and he asked if anything had happened with any other student. Which hasn't so we said no, and he just dismissed us to go to our classes. Of course I didn't tell him or anyone about the note. I wasn't going to before I knew what it was about. It could be involved with Dima.
As we stepped outside the office Elena walked to her class as me and Brain walked to ours since we had our first period together.
"You still coming to my game today?" Brian asked which I had completely forgotten about, which I absolutely wasn't in the mood for, but I still had to go. I need to support what he does and loves no matter what, right?
"Yeah sure, good luck, not that you need it" I said as he smirked and put his arm around me.
Don't get me wrong I love Brian, but we are only in college, I know this won't last much longer and as soon as we are off to next year this will just be a memory. And I'm not really mad about that, it isn't that serious, and I know that he thinks the same if not less. Sure it is going to hurt the day this ends because of all the memories and moments together, but I know that the life that awaits us both is greater. Just like that first and last period were over. And now was time for the game, which was so overrated. Kids were yelling and jumping, people were betting their money and cheerleaders were almost fainting over the players.
"Wish me luck baby" Brian said leaning his forehead against mine as he kissed me.
"Good luck" I smiled as we pulled away and he ran to the field. I saw the Regina George of our school sending me daggers from the corner of my eye which just encouraged me to clap along with everyone else.
Me and Elena went and took our seats as the game started. But I honestly couldn't concentrate much. Sure I knew enough about football to understand how it works and I enjoy a good match from time to time, but I just wasn't in the mood right now. I saw the players running, I saw the crowd cheer, but I couldn't focus. I just thought about this morning, and that guy who was at our house.
Why? I don't know.
But I had some kind of feeling about this.
I put my hand in my pocket to check that the note still was there, and it was, but I wasn't going to open it yet.
I looked up again to discover the match had ended, we won. I looked at Elena who was a hard-core football fan, and who was now jumping and yelling just like the hundred others.
"Okay let's go" I said standing up and walking to where I had spotted Brian last. I was happy for him, I knew how much he worked for this and wanted it. As the crowd started dividing into smaller ones, with one around each player, Elena had headed to her boyfriend, Josh who also played in the same team and I spotted Brian.
Which I wish I didn't.
There he stood kissing girls on their cheeks and hugging them, completely ignoring me.
Gosh this is stupid, I shouldn't have stayed. I walked towards the parking and took my phone out to call Ivan, only to feel cold drops of water touching my skin.
I didn't hate rain, I actually loved it. But not now. My clothes weren't the best for it to rain and I was going to freeze to death waiting for Ivan to arrive. I looked up at the sky but a black lambo made me stop my gaze from going so high up.
Holy hell it looked beautiful.
"Finally" A familiar husky voice said as I noticed that someone was leaning against it.
Him?!
"What are you doing here?" I asked knowing that he sure as hell didn't go here.
"So you talk" He said making me raise an eyebrow at him.
"What?" I asked confused.
"I'm supposed to pick you up" He said.
Why him out of all people?
"Why, where is Ivan?" I asked and he raised his brow in confusion.
"My driver" I added and just before he had the chance to answer a voice from behind made us both turn around.
"Lien?!" Brian yelled
"Brian" I answered walking towards him
"Why did you leave?" He asked looking suspicious.
Oh you know, no reason just that I didn't really want to stand around like an i***t doing nothing when all the girls were fainting on my boyfriend and he didn't even seem bothered. No instead he hugged and kissed them back.
"I- I felt really tired" I spoke but there's no way that he'll buy that.
"Felt tired or wanted to run off with him?" He said looking at Viktor standing behind me.
"Excuse me?" I said not expecting that from Brain.
"Yes excuse you, ever since what happened you have been ignoring me" He yelled making it hard to stay calm.
"I apologize if someone vandalizing my stuff and you kissing girls made you feel ignored" I yelled back with the same tone if not even louder and angrier.
"What?" Both Viktor and Brian said at the same time. But I knew it was for different reasons.
"I'll walk home" I said turning around, looking at Viktor as the rain got heavier and started walking.
"Like hell you will, it's raining get in the car Lien" Viktor said getting in his car and following me, but I just ignored him and walked faster.
"Do you even know the way to the house?" He asked which made me want to beat myself. Course I didn't. Well I knew a bit from college, and a bit from the house but not the rest.
"Lien get in the car for the last time before I make you" He said, and I did as I was told. I was shaking which he seemed to notice because he turned on the heater and offered me a jacket. But me being stubborn said no.
"What happened?" He asked after a while and I knew what he meant.
"Why do you care?" I replied and I knew I was being harsh, but there was no point in telling him. Dima will know about this soon anyways if he wasn't already informed. He has people at the school watching me in case anything happens, and there's no way they haven't already heard or seen what happened.
"Who was that?" He asked and I knew he meant Brian.
"You won't give up will you?" I said and he looked at me from the corner of his eye while slightly turning his head around to face me, so I took that as a no.
"My boyfriend now where are we going cause I'm pretty sure you missed our turn" I said looking at him.
"To the company" He said
He isn't such a speaker is he..
"Are you going to explain why?"
"Your father will" He spoke
"Dima isn't my father"
"He calls you daughter"
"That doesn't make him my father"
"Neither does blood" he spoke in a lower voice.
"What?" I asked confused. But it seemed like he didn't want to explain. It was almost as if he slipped and wasn't supposed to say that.
"We're here" He said as he parked the car and killed the engine.
We stepped out of his heavenly black lambo and stepped into the company.
As soon as the staff saw us they all started greeting us and offering help. Everyone was so nice here, probably because they think Dima would kill them otherwise. I don't really know if they are completely wrong.
I stepped into his office as Viktor stayed outside, and he hung up a call he was engaged in as he gestured for me to come sit down.
"Hey what's up?" I said as I took a seat in front of him.
"Lien.. how are you doing dear ?" He said and I knew he was trying to beat around the bush.
"Dima what is it?" I said knowing how afraid he is of hurting my feelings. He thinks I'm this weak creature that can't handle anything. He might be right sometimes, but I also get impatient, bored, and sick of it.
"I have to move back to Russia" he said making me drop my jaw in surprise.
