Viktor's POV
You ever look in the mirror and not recognize the reflection looking back you? I was losing myself. There was no denying that.
She made me someone I'm not. Even if it brought me some of the happiest moments of my life, I wasn't this person. I couldn't pretend I was. I would eventually hurt her when I go back to the real me.
So I wrote her the note, collected my stuff and headed out.
"Vik?” Andrey said as I made my way downstairs.
"Why?" He asked.
"I'm no good for her Andrey. You know that" I said after a minute of silence and he couldn't even reply. Cause deep down, he knew I was right. "Thanks for welcoming me in though. Take good care of her" I said giving him one last hug and picking my bag right up before heading out.
