Chapter Four Having been awoken by the sound of bird song, I left the tent and walked across the field to the shower block to get showered and dressed, all the while humming and singing to myself; I hadn’t felt this happy for a long, long time and had I seemed to have boundless energy. Back at the tent I pulled on my walking boots, consulted a map and headed off along the coast for a long walk that was destined to get me, by a circuitous route, to Jo’s café at about midday.
