The camp instructor patiently waited for the murmurs to settle before finally stepping forward, his hands clasped neatly behind his back. Unlike the principal, there was no hint of frustration on his face. If anything, he looked almost amused by the restless crowd standing before him. “Now that the unpleasant announcements are out of the way,” he began, “allow me to properly welcome you all to this year’s Movillster Academy Training Camp.” A few students let out reluctant claps while the rest merely watched him in silence. “My name is Instructor Rowan and for the next two weeks, your lives belong to me.” A chorus of groans immediately rose from the crowd.
