Tina had expected the Abyssal clan to be strange.
She just hadn't expected it to be this strange.
The moment she stepped into their training grounds, she immediately noticed the difference between this place and the other parts of the academy she had visited.
The area was surrounded by water.
Not completely, but enough that Tina could hear the constant sound of it flowing around them. A large pool stretched across one side of the grounds, its surface shimmering beneath the light, while smaller streams ran through the area and disappeared beneath the stone paths.
There were even several sections where the ground seemed to sink into shallow water, though the creatures moving around the place didn't seem bothered by it.
