“What?” All eyes immediately turned towards Bernard as he made his decision. Jack especially arched an eyebrow at him, taking a step towards him. “What do you mean by that?”
“I’m sorry to say this, but she can’t leave here,” Bernard stood his ground. “I do understand you as a father but I also need you to understand the circumstances we’re in.”
“She told you everything, didn’t she?” Bernard continued. “They attend the school here and everyone thinks they’re all a family. One big family- the Caesars. They think she’s a Drezpire too so do you think it makes any sense for one of them to suddenly leave home and live somewhere else?”
