“Our apologies,” Adam quickly took the lead to apologize, followed by a light bow. “Greetings, witches.”
There were five of them, their responses coming out in murmurs as the rest of them mirrored his actions to bow at them and offer their greetings.
“Silence,” Petal spoke up again. “They need silence to get to work.”
The entire room immediately fell into silence, the only audible sounds coming from the witches as they kept on chanting. It went on for a while, unfamiliar sounds tumbling out of them as they moved slowly, performing whatever rituals needed to be done.
“Who’s going first?” One of the witches they immediately sensed to be the leader spoke up. “Which one of you Drezpires would want to be tested first?”
