Liviana sat by the riverbank staring at the waters, she covered herself with her cloak, beside her laid Prince Aiden shirtless, his wounds been stitched and neatly cleaned up. She waited patiently for him to wake up. "What am I doing saving a royal?" she battled with herself, mumbling while digging the sand with a small branch. "Uhh" Aiden moved, holding his wound, adjusting. "You're up?" She says with her gaze focused on the waters. "Thank you, you saved my life," He says, with his voice cracking. "Well, I have to go-" "Wait!" Liviana paused, what did he want? she asked herself, as much as she wanted to leave without hesitation she couldn't, something made her stay and she couldn't help but worry about him. "What do you want?" she asked, worriedly. "At least, let me know the name of the person who saved me" "I seek no reward," she says. Aiden chuckles, sitting upright. "At least, I should know the name of my saviour," "I wish not to speak," She says, standing by his side. "How about a glance of your face" She sighs, folding her hands in a fist, eager to show him her face but she couldn't. "I'm sorry," She says, "I treated you with some herbs, so you would be fine in a few minutes" "Uhmm..." he looked at the wounds as she spoke, "You dropped this," He says, staring at her. Liviana quickly turned over to him hiding her face, she spots a necklace in his hands "Oh, it's not mine" She turned away. "Well it's not mine either, it looks like a pretty necklace for a pretty young lady," He says, Liviana's heart skipped hearing him. She turned over to him, stretching her hands towards him to take it but Aiden sees an opportunity to pull her to him. Liviana screams, falling on him "Hmmmmm" her hands pressed to his cut. "Oh my, I didn't-" she stopped and stared at him, Liviana's eyes locked with his. He smiles seeing her. "You have pretty eyes" he commented, the world stopped, and time stopped. Her bright eyes flickered in the darkness, 'What in the world was she?' he thought to himself. Although he didn’t know her but he felt an intense emotion rise in him making him surrender completely to her. His gaze fell to her lips, and his heart twitched at the sight of them, anxiously he shifted his gaze back to her eyes, she was beautiful, her eyes were captivating, it was something he had never seen, he felt the heat rise in his chest and his heart beat louder than ever she could possibly have heard it? He questioned. How could one lady be so beautiful? he asked himself. With all the princesses he had been with no one measured up to her beauty. Her fair silky and smooth skin amazed him he assumed they could have been soft. Aiden wanted to touch them, he then raised his hands slowly touching her cheek slightly, Liviana quivered under his touched." "What are you doing?" She got off his body. "You have beautiful eyes" He cleared his throat, looking away. "Stupid" She arranged her dress, running off "Wait!" Aiden called, holding his side, trying to get up, by the time he was able to get up, Liviana was gone into thin airs. "Aiden?" He heard a familiar voice, he turned over to find Eris standing with Sir Helios. "You!" his anger rose again. "We've been searching for you," Sir Helios says, moving closer. "Did you see her?" He asked, panting. "See who?" "The lady?" "What lady?" Aiden furrowed his brows, angrily "If you didn't see her or anybody you say and stop repeating after me!" He groaned, holding his wounds. "Yes Sire," Sir Helios says, moving closer to him, to help him. "Here!" He throws his swords over to Eris to pick it up. The court door opens, and Aiden steps in along with Sir Helios and Sir Lason "What happened?" "The bandits, they attacked us," "Seemed like they had a purpose" "Should be Alvan men?" Aiden says, holding his side. "How's your wound?" King Aindrea asks, stepping closer to him. "Fine, it's better" He glanced around, his eyes met Hera who was standing beside Kallias. "Have the royal physician take a look at it?" King Aindrea says, heading back to his throne, "And send men into the forest I want whoever did this to you locked up" He ordered. "Yes father" Aiden bows slightly, raising his gaze Kallias smiled at him. He turned away and walked out of the courtroom, heading to his chambers. "You still didn't tell me who the lady was," Eris says, following him to his chambers. "Aiden?" Kallias calls, he stops forcing a smile before turning over to her. "Would you like to go on a picnic with me tomorrow?" She says, with a smile on her face. "No, Kallias" "It would just be the three of us" she smiles. "Three? who?" "And Hera" she pulls her from behind, Hera had her head lowered to the floor, scared to take them off. "You must be insane" "Why? I just want to have a picnic with my brother and my maid would be carrying the basket" "I don't have time for your silly games, Kallias!" he says, turning away from her. Aiden walk into his chambers slamming the door, "She makes me angry" He says, taking off his belt. "It's normal, when you're in love, people tease you," Eris says, picking the belt up. "What? love?" He chuckles "Ain't you in love?" "Bullshit" He exhaled, sitting at the side of the bed, while Eris helped him with his shoes. "When why did you?" "Because I was drunk, it was after Kallias birthday, she came unto me" "She? I bet no servant would try that," "You're saying I came unto her?" "My thought exactly" "Eris? what would you do if you're sent outside the palace?" Aiden says, in a cold threatening tone. "I'm sorry, my lord" Eris lowers his head, as Aiden stood up, something dropped out of his clothes. "What's that?" He looked around, his pants came off. "Ohhh," Eris chuckles, watching him struggle with his pant. "Take them up!" He roared in frustration. Eris quickly helps him take them up, his eyes darts at the necklace on the floor. "Isn't that a ladies?" Eris picked it, scanning it, "It's not a royal" Aiden looked at him, seeing the necklace, he smiled, he had a cause to see her again. "I'm sorry, my sister has not been well, she isn't used to the crowd" Daisy's voice played in his head, "Your sister?" He says, staring at the necklace, it was the same necklace from the market Square. "Who?" Eris asked, but he smiled instead.
