HOURS AGO DURING THE BET.
"Well it's granted," he says, Liviana gawked at him, they haven't even started and he was confident enough.
Aiden fired the first arrow, and Liviana picked hers, this continued for a while. Time moved slowly and soon after the sunset was up.
"I think that's enough game!" Aiden says, Liviana gawked at him.
"It is" She answered, jealousy and anger filling her tone.
"What's the score?" Aiden asked Eris.
"Ten, one!" Eris says, smiling. Liviana looked disappointed, she dropped her bow tiredly.
"You said you want a job at the palace?" Aiden asked.
"Why do you care?" She says, about to leave, Aiden blocks her.
"Because without this game I could still grant you a wish, that means you have to grant me two!" he explained, making her chuckle.
"My lord," she smirked, "We placed a bet..."
"And I am offering you another, for two wishes"
"What would you want from a girl like me?" she says.
"It's my wish, I feel like we are going to be seeing each other often," He says.
"I wouldn't dare,"
"Didn't you want to work at the palace?"
"I did?"
"What would you like to do?" He asked, Liviana stared at him for a while, she looked at Eris and he was focused on them.
"Anything, I could suit unit any," She says, Aiden looked at her hands.
"Okay, then it's done" He smiled, giving Eris a sign for them to leave.
"You would?"
"Yes, don't forget my wish" he looked back, Liviana stared knowing she was in big trouble, Daisy would kill her if she found out, this morning they had already quarrelled, and thanks to that she could roam around the palace.
NOW...
"This is from the prince, Liviana!" she gritted her teeth, raising her gaze at her. "What did you do yesterday!" she asked.
"It is?" she wrinkled her nose, looking doubtful.
"Dear Liviana, this is from the house of the royal physician..." Daisy read out. Liviana stared at her speechless. "I can not believe you"
"I met with the Prince, not like... why are am I even explain... we had a bet that's all"
"A bet? with the Prince of Harcadia?"
"Yes, I did not know he would be quick!"
"Liviana," Daisy sighed, Liviana moved away smiling at her, she shook her head in disappointment.
"Let me see it" She stepped closer to her, She took the note and stared at it, she giggled handing it back to her.
"A job at the royal physician's, that's very close to the King!" Daisy turned to her.
"Maybe I should reject?" she said doubtfully. The whole time she had a smile on, even though she knew she was wrong.
"You want to?" Daisy asked.
She had a big smile on her lips, she could decline, a job wasn't that important for her. She could run back to the forest as usual and live with Bion and Gaia even though they did not want to live with her, her mind wandered as she stared at the little note, sent by Prince Aiden in Daisy's hand.
"You know what? try it... but stay out of trouble!" Daisy slapped the note into her palm.
"Really?" Liviana turned her gaze to her, and her eyes widened.
"I mean it this time, stay out of trouble and you know what's the trouble?" Daisy asked.
"Aiden?" Liviana had her hands on her waist, while she guessed. Daisy could tell she was excited, she smiled back at her.
"Yes and this father, never stare directly into his eyes and don't ever use your magic- in the palace" Daisy warned, as she dropped the basket and flowers on the dining table.
"Thanks, Daisy!" Liviana hugged her from behind, happy like a child whose mother had blessed or let free.
"Also avoid Lason, you could only put him in grave danger if you both knew each other" She added. Liviana moved away, she tilted her head in confusion.
"Why is that?" She asked.
"Because, Lason is close to Aiden and the King" Liviana whined, nodding her head
"Okay... Don't I have to thank his majesty?" she shrugged.
"Who? Aiden?" Daisy asked.
"Yes, I should at least" she stated.
"Yeah, you should," Daisy says, "Oh make it snappy and prepare we have a job to catch up with"
Aiden's chamber opened and Lason stepped in.
"Sire..." He paused seeing, Liviana kneeling in his presence.
"Lason!" Aiden called, Liviana buried her head, staring at the ground.
"Am I interrupting?"
"Uh-huh... Ana, that's enough I can tell you're grateful." Aiden helped her up.
"Ana?" Lason muttered. Aiden looked at him, Liviana turned to him.
"She's the new assistant to Leda, could you show her to her office?"
"What?" Lason raised his brows at her, Liviana struggled with keeping a straight face.
"This is my knight... Sir Lason," Aiden introduced, a smile graced her lips as she silently gave him a sign not to say anything.
"Sir Lason? Harcadia's finest knight... it's a pleasure meeting you" she says raising her hands to him, Lason cleared his throat stepping closer to her, he didn't understand what was happening but played along taking her hands.
He struggled for words, "What's the name for a beauty like you"
"Liviana," she says. Aiden stared at them, he furrowed his brows and had a smirk on. He could tell something was off.
"Aiden!" Eris barged in, seeing them and the mood of the room, he stopped.
"What's wrong?" Aiden asked.
"Your presence is needed at court" Eris came closer, and Lason took his eyes off her.
"If you excuse me," she says, taking her dress in her hands.
"Do you know your way?" Aiden asked, grabbing her hands at the same time as Lason. Liviana jerked pulling away from them. Aiden raised his gaze at Lason.
"I-I... wou-would... find my way... My lord" She stammered, showing herself out.
As soon as she was out, Aiden laughed moving away, Lason lowered his head staring at the ground.
"She's a beauty... it's normal to act that way" Aiden says.
"I'm sorry my lord... I didn't mean to,"
"It's okay, Eris!"
"I don't mean to interrupt... but do you..." Lason managed a smile unable to continue his statement.
"What's wrong with you? did she get to you already?" Aiden laughed and Eris followed "Come on, we have to be at court" he wrapped an arm around his neck, pulling him out of his chambers.
Liviana arrived at the physician's house, she took a deep breath before stepping in. Liviana opened the door, her smile faded seeing how the place looked like, it wasn't any different from Gaia's place, messy at the same time clean, she had so many books like Gaia, the only difference was there were three ling tables, they looked like a bed but they weren't and she had so many instruments.
"Hello?" Liviana closed the door behind her.
"So it's you?" she heard a voice, her eyes searching for it. "Liviana... The moon witch" Leda stepped out from a bookshelf, she held in her hands a big book.
"What?" Liviana's voice softened, and her legs shook hearing her call her a witch.
"Those eyes... there are indeed pretty..." Leda says Liviana was shocked by the re with Gaia.
