Aiden fired the first arrow, and Liviana picked hers, this continued for a while. Time moved slowly and soon after the sunset was up. The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground and the slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky. They wrapped up, Liviana took her leave walking down the path, Aiden had long left with his people, Liviana sighed countless times as she headed home. Liviana spots Daisy standing outside their place, a smile graced her lips immediately, she knew she was in huge trouble. "Walk faster!" Daisy yelled, Liviana froze, she expected a different reaction from her. "Okay!" she hasted her legs and soon after Liviana closed the door behind her. "Did you enjoy your stroll?" Daisy says, placing the groceries on the table, she didn't know what to answer, if Daisy was being sarcastic or not. "What stroll?" She asked, playing dumb. "I saw you, after I left you were staring around" Liviana looked at her, and their eyes met for a second. "You came back?" Liviana picked a banana, peeling it. "Yeah, to check if you were gone, why? did something happen?" Daisy stopped washing the fruits and stared at her. "No, nothing" she laughed, "Lason?" "He doesn't come home often, so expect him anytime like this morning" "Ahh, I didn't..." she paused, scratching her head. "You didn't what?" "See him around" She lowered her voice pouting. "Were you looking for him?" "Not really, but I just thought I would bump into him," "Well, Lason is always serving his majesty" "Which?" "The prince of course" "Ahh," she sat, wondering why she didn't see him with Aiden today, maybe he wandered away by himself. "Does the prince have a sister?" "Princess Kallias?" Daisy asked, walking towards her "Did you see her today?" "I don't know, but I saw a lady, she was wearing an expensive garment that seemed like something only royals do" "Well, I don't know, because they were other royals at the palace today, she had a feast with her friends," Daisy says. "Hmm," "Also, the sailors came in from the west, they brought beautiful things, the ladies always get to pick before it enters the local market..." Liviana watched her explain everything, the palace life was luxurious, but she enjoyed being normal, Daisy reminded her of Bion, whenever she came back from hunting and other errands they would both sit, Liviana would smile downloading all the went through and Bion would sit and listen carefully like she was doing to Daisy. "Are you listening?" Daisy tapped. "Yeah, I am just a little sleepy" she stretched her body, today was very eventful and she couldn't wait for tomorrow. "Okay... I talked to the kitchen head, she said she would give me a response by tomorrow" "For what?" Liviana asked confused. "For the job" she picked up her plate and headed to the kitchen "Don't you want the job?" "Ahh? that" She managed a smile. "What do you mean? Ahh, that? I told you I was going to ask her" "Nothing, I wasn't expecting you to," She says, entering her room. Daisy stared confused and angrily at her sassy tone. "That brat!" she eyed the door frustrated. "I can hear you!" Liviana screamed. "Is she using her powers?" she held her chest, wondering if she could hear what she was thinking. "You're too loud and no, I can't hear your thoughts" Liviana opened the door. whispering. "How did you know I was thinking about hat then?" Daisy challenged. Liviana gave her a disappointing look, her neighbours could even hear her and she could ask a question like that "Do you have a hearing problem?" She slammed the door against her. The next morning, Liviana stared at the wooden ceiling which was painted white angry about the palace bell, she didn't even get to complete her dream and the bell came on, this triggered her, she wished she could slap some sense into whoever was ringing it. She sat up staring at the door. Her eyes were pale and fluffy, she rubbed them as she stepped out. "Daisy?" she called, glancing around the house was empty. She breathed in and out trying to figure out where Daisy was. She knocked at her room and no response. Liviana looked around the house and it was stuffy, she hadn't taken a proper look at it before. The curtains were dusty, and the ceiling had webs at some corners. The chair wasn't that dusty but they didn't look clean either. She opened daisy's room again and her clothes were laying on the bed and floor. "What about Lason? where does he stay?" she looked around and there was no more room. The house had just two rooms. The door opens and Daisy stepped in with a banquet of flowers. Liviana smirked seeing them, she didn't know Daisy had a boyfriend. "What's that?" she asked, forgetting about the room and the dustiness. "I saw them outside, I don't see a letter... oh here is ooone!" she screamed almost dropping the goods she carried. "What? what's that?" Liviana moved away, rolling her eyes at her, was getting a flower that important? "The royal seal!" she exclaimed. "The what?" Liviana asked again. She held to her chest startled by her voice. "This is from the prince, Liviana!" she gritted her teeth, raising her gaze at her. "What did you do yesterday!" she asked.
